  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Not really about the forum having technical issues but I don't know what thread would be most appropriate, so are we being removed from search engine results?
I was looking up "(lolcow) kiwifarms" and didn't get any link to the forum, and that used to work just fine. I can't even just put in "kiwifarms" and get the website, just news and shit.

Google removes any controversial website from their index (except for 4chan for some reason) so if they hadn't removed the site earlier, they definitely have now. Based Bing and DuckDuckGo still have KF as the first result though, as well as Daily Stormer, 8kun and even fucking Stormfront.

Edit: All of them still shows up if you search for their urls instead.

Clearnet itself is up (I'm still connected to chat on clearnet), but DNS pointing to clearnet is down. The DNS server either times out or returns "server failed."
 
.net is down for me. Weekend has just started, trannies don't work, they sit around online all day DDoSing and dilating. I only get so much time off and I don't appreciate some greasy eunuch determining what I can and can't do with it. I'll see if .net works via tor. I'm on onion now.

I can't imagine anybody but total normies using google anymore. I get that not everybody is gonna make the switch to tor or learn how to use tails or whatever, but I heard an advertisement for duckduckgo on the radio, so maybe google will continue to lose users. I'm trying to go down the degoogling route.

No, it's happening too quickly; DDoS usually spins the page for a bit before crashing out.

It's because of the downtime and new bot page. I'll have to focus on SEO again some other time.

Reminder that they censor search results. Also, the constant ads from that Weinberg guy don't inspire confidence.
Searx, Yandex and Brave Search are better alternatives.

And with that my new homepage is yandex. Duckduckgo are no doubt the lesser of two evils compared to google, but I'd sooner nobody was prioritising what they want me to see based on politics.

Yes. You should de-Google. Even search engines nobody has heard of (like Qwant) are better. Bing is pretty good for image search.
