'Change width' makes posts effectively hide it.

#DropKiwiFarms have been abusing the ironically named AbuseIPDB website to file multiple false reports against KF-associated ISPs in order to coerce them into dissociating from KF. To give just one example, I wrote a post here about how #DropKiwiFarms filed multiple false reports against the Dutch ISP Incognet (back when KF was using them), and then Liz Fong-Jones lied about them on Twatter falsely claiming Incognet had been nuked along with KF. Even after Incognet openly tweeted at Liz disputing his bullshit claims about their ISP being down, Liz refused to take down his false tweets about them. If Malwarebytes is using AbuseIPDB to determine whom to block, then they are using an unreliable resource that is still subject to retaliatory false reports.

My report button has been reappeared today after 30 posts. So it does seem something is necessary to trigger its function @Null

Was I supposed to get an email when my account was approved by a mod? I never got it.
 
Not sure if this is a new issue or just a change, but used to be able to edit the tagline/title of threads you were the OP of, but it is not allowing this anymore.

If we want to change a tagline due to a new permanent info should we use talk to staff?

I can't seem to edit any of my posts, the Edit button isn't showing up at all.
EDIT: I can edit this post, but everything else just won't let me, the buttons won't show up.

Null changed it in changed in August, though I think he later changed something back for thread OPs.

Very tired of people complaining about edit times. This forum is for archiving stuff. Posts should not be mutable forever. There will be communal OPs in the future.

I noticed some Lumen Database fuckery when checking on one of the DMCA notifications in an (unrelated) Google Images Search (about Kaylyn Saucedo but the notification has nothing to do with her). After messing around, I got the full notification via the annoying function where you have to give an email address and they send you a one-time link to the specific thing.

The entire notice is at the bottom, but the important thing is all the other results are full urls, whereas only kiwifarms.net is listed for the KF-related "infringement." It's apparently Dominique Skye, weeb wars moron, but that's not the interesting part.

After kiwifarms.net is an Ⓘ symbol. This is what that says:

So uniquely, Kiwi Farms urls in the Lumen Database can't even be viewed without special dispensation.

I have the same issue as Socrates. I couldn't tag him, quote him or reply to his post without additional lines being entered. Even typing this freeform was having the issue, I ended up having to log in on my PC to finish this post.
Using desktop mode on my mobile browser (Brave) still had the issue of adding new rows.

I don't know if maybe it is some sort of Android keyboard compatibility issue with the forum software, but it bites. I know my mobile recently updated to Android 13, and I didn't notice having this issue until after that point.
The more you try removing the auto-inserted new rows on mobile, the faster and faster they add in. The most I've been able to manage without having the new rows issue is typing a short sentence without quoting, replying, tagging, inserting any elements, or pasting any text into the draft.

I'm using the built in Samsung keyboard for my phone; I don't see an option for any other keyboard anymore, it used to have Google keyboard as an option. Hm.
I feel disinclined to install any 3rd party keyboards because I have no experience there and odds are, I'll end up installing one with a keylogger, and not the proper one you suggested. Thank you for the additional info.

Null, I have a suggestion.
Remove the ability to insert images that aren't thumbnails. Just remove the button that does it.

I guess the drag and droppers would still be an issue.

I don't mind it being shown, I don't need to hide it, it's actually kind of nice. I'm looking to prevent it from being downloaded in the first place in order to save bandwidth (read: cut down on load times when browsing on Tor).

Thanks for the link but it's not much of a permanent solution. I suppose I could block that particular file from downloading somehow with an adblocker but the banner is going to be changed back to the regular one after the holidays and I couldn't find the link anywhere with Ctrl-F while in inspect element; I wanted to try to block the element that displays or a suitable parent it by its ID or class.
