I'm an Epik customer as well (purely because of Null's recommendation), but complaining to them about kiwifarms.net being stolen is like pissing in a wetsuit; it might feel warm for a few seconds, but it'll do fuck all in the grand scheme of things.

Looks like I'll just have to quietly move my domains as and when they come up for renewal, and give their theft of kiwifarms.net as my reason for leaving. Still pretty useless, but not as useless as complaining to them without any tangible action attached.

I'm not a network engineer, but what would stop people from creating a P2P domain system that uses something like blockchain in order to have the records be salient? I feel if that tech is practical it would absolutely get the internet out from under the thumbs of these people
