Blocking Canvas doesn't really make much sense on the Farms. The person logging into an account is obviously usually going to be the same person every time. You should probably have Canvas turned off, but in another browser and use a dedicated browser just for Farms stuff.

If you just use Opera for the Farms, it has a free VPN built in that works pretty well.

(Personally I still use Brave for the Farms and most other things because Canvas is really low on my list of things to care about.)

I believe it's blocked by default on Tor Browser for schizo-level security, not that users are choosing to block it on the Farms.
 
I don't think anything can be done so I'm more just venting here.

But I've had several occurrences over the last week or so when I'm serially editing a post I've already published adding more screenshots/archive links/video clips, etc, only to lose everything I just added in the last edit including uploads because when I go to Save/Publish, I'm locked out and the browser window is essentialy frozen until I reload the page (and lose all my inputted data) to pass another Kiwiflare loop.

It's not so much an issue with New fresh posts because XenForo or whatever bastardized forum build is currently in use does an excellent job of caching most of your unpublished text & embeds in the Text Field upon reload.

Unfortunately, there's no caching feature for Edits on existing posts, so getting locked out for a Kiwiflare loop means losing everything since the last save.

This has caused me to get a little obsessive at times at saving serially when doing long edits to existing dense content posts.
 
The forum is loading at a thick-level soup quality for me. Is it shit for everyone?

Brave browser, btw.
 
Youtube hates you and people who plainly link to youtube without any local archive are fools.

I am still running into the same "problem has occurred" issue others have mentioned while trying to add a passkey. I understand there are more pressing things to focus on (e.g. recent performance tweaks), but this would be nice to have working in the near future. I want to see how I can integrate it with my existing CLI tools and libraries as an alternative to password authentication.

Good to know. If you ever find yourself with the time to take a look at it, it would be nice to have as a secure auth method for my programs. Plus, I never say no to getting to use my yubikey lol.
Aside from the general account security benefits, I am sure people who have to log in frequently, such as Tor users, would really appreciate having it working too.

Not really a grievance but didn't know where else to post this:

I just noticed i got T&H'd, is there a way to see who bought/gifted that to me? Nice to know i am worth $20 dollar to someone :story:
 
When I copy text from other sites and paste it in reply box here, it applies some formatting like font size and bolding. Selecting the text and using the "remove formatting" button doesn't work. Is there anything I can do to remove formatting without pasting the text somewhere else, selecting it there and THEN pasting it at the Farms?

Try this: go here, select "Pantera" and paste it here.
