Right click, then "Paste as plain text"? Android seems to also have tap and hold, then "Paste as plain text" Didn't check Apple.

Hey, that worked! I use Firefox and I NEVER noticed "paste without formatting" in right click menu. I guess I never needed it until now.

Good to see other people are experiencing the same thing since chat is also gone from the home page for me. I thought I somehow blocked it or was one of my extensions doing something but nothing made a difference. It still works in its dedicated tab though.

I believe the usual standard is "If the gifter wants to tell you who they are, they will" and the mods assume they want to be anonymous unless otherwise specified and won't tell you who did it.
 
I don't know if anyone's mentioned this but getting in from the UK has gone back to normal, no need for Tor or VPN's, kiwifarms.st gets straight in on a normal browser.

Perhaps I'll be getting a visit from the Stasi.
 
Is the list that shows who is currently in a chat extremely short for anyone else? This is from Gen-chat when I went in it to see what was happening in there.

I saw that my name was easily visible when it would usually be buried deep within the list and was confused. The total count for the users, including me, is 36. Very small compared to how I usually see it where it's just everyone who didn't bother switching to any other chat. It would usually show everyone that was currently on the site, hundreds of users at once.

Also, I have to assume this is only because it's counting people who are in the dedicated chat page. Is there a reason Gen-chat was taken off at the bottom of the page? Is it because of the memory leaks on Brave or...?

This is what it currently looks like. I don't have it blocked with something like uBlock Origin or anything.

It's been a common issue that Chat on anything Chromium based (Brave, Ungoogled Chromium...ETC) makes the browser eat memory up the ass. If Chat was still at the bottom of the page (or maybe even with the dedicated Chat tab itself), you can observe this in action by just letting the page stay still for like an hour or two (maybe even less) and observing memory usage with some kind of monitoring tool (Task Manager, whatever there is on Linux...). You could easily see memory usage go up from a couple hundred MB's to GB's. Also, I don't think this was a problem with Firefox/anything Gecko related but that's just because I never saw any complaints about it.

It's mostly because of the members list on the side of it since it's constantly updating with usernames and avatars of people who are logging off and logging on again. The common way this was usually solved is to just block the list outright or just block chat entirely, using something to block it with like uBlock Origin or Brave's built-in blocker.

However, I guess that problem is partially solved now since Chat is just gone entirely from the bottom of the page which means that the side list of registers people who are in the dedicated chat tab (going from literally everyone online on the Farms to the lower double-digits commonly).

Still don't know why Chat was removed from the bottom of the page but if there's a reason, I guess it's because of this. Can't believe that it took him this long to finally take action on it, even if the solution isn't a great one lmao. I do want to know if that is actually the reason for Chat disappearing, though.
 
Quit allowing retarded cowardly faggots to hide their profiles. Not only does this deprive us of our people's holy tradition of yelling JULAAAAAAAAY when they're banned, it's also impossible even to ignore them unless you search out and find a post by one of these faggots who does nothing but ratings spam.

And then when they inevitably get halaled you can't bully them. Only faggots hide and lock their profiles. Not a single person who does that shit is not a gigantic cum guzzling fag. Why are we catering to these cowardly queers?

I came here to see if we were getting DDOSed, I don't have more technical input, but the site has been taking forever sporadically to connect. Once or does it loads quickly, but it gets hung up early on trying to connect.

Also came here because of issues today. unable to access kiwifarms through clearnet but TOR is still available. not sure if it's an ISP issue or something else

Opening a thread link from a report on .onion opens as .st goes through kiwiflare and then redirects to the .onion instead of just opening as a .onion like the rest of the notifications. Not that it really matters but still doesn't seem intentional.
