I despise dealing with storage. This has taken 3 weeks. There's so much stuff I need to do that is not babysitting rclone
 
As of Oct 4, I am still being tortured by filesystems. If you encounter errors, they are temporary. I am doing my best but computers are miserable. If you are considering a job in IT please just go into welding or something. There is no price worth sitting here arguing with AI about file compaction.

Haha, imagine building an entire social media platform and still not knowing the technical nuances of your creation, then relying upon an unvetted service filled with snarly jeet-fueled, copied-and-pasted shite to do your work for you.

@Null the pages of a users posts doesn't appear anymore. User profile -> Postings tab ->" See more" button at the end of the page -> pages of users posts should appear at the bottom.

I'm not that active here so I don't know if Null is the one who wrote this banner message I saw, but I searched for this thread to hopefully add some useful information that should prevent you from ever having filesystem issues like this in the future. If you care about your data, then you should migrate to a filesystem that prevents "bitrot". The best of them is ZFS. Hopefully you're already running Linux and you can just migrate to Linux 6.16 and run the latest openzfs. Feel free to DM me for the best ZFS optimizations for your usage. It can easily be setup so you can have multiple hard drives fail at the same time and you lose no information. It will also detect bitrot and fix it for you.
 
I have to say that I really like storage. Admittedly I like it more when I'm playing with $100k+ Pure or NetApp. But even for home grown stuff it has some of the best in-built command lime performance measurements native anywhere in the stack. Just iostat has saved my ass many times.

Yes. 🔥

A blowtorch can easily cut through a laptop.

A laptop is made primarily of aluminum, plastics, glass, and electronic components, all of which have relatively low melting or combustion points compared to the heat produced by a blowtorch.
 
Oxy-Acetylene welding and cutting are identical except for the torch(or sometimes just the torch tip). Once you have the gas bottles you can easily do both.

Really, in a way plasma cutting and arc welding are also similar, and they do make single machines to do both(often poorly) once again with different tooling.
 
I'm was just wondering, if it would be worth attempting another givesendgo, or similar crowdfund, even if it fails. To possibly just full on replace as much of the server hardware as possible.

If it's not hardware related. I can't help but wonder if it's configuration related. I'm not expert with zfs because it's way more than I would ever need. But IIRC congratulation can effect it's performance quite a bit.

Yea I did because I didn't want to double post. I attach all the images, they're all at the bottom next to the attach file part, I put the little | fella where he needs to go and click insert then thumbnail. Still gives me the error message on hitting post. All the images are at the bottom near the attach files button. When I copy pasted the shit from the edit to a separate post it changed all of them to like (attach) 383589829 (attach) if that means anything. Deleted all the images and redid them from the bottom section all as nice little thumbnails too and it still throws the same error.

I know I'm not being any more retarded than normal because the post I was trying to edit already had over 10 images attached in the same way and that had no problems neither then or the hundreds of other times I've done the same thing. If something is showing up fucky on the backend then that's not me, I've done the exact same thing as always. The only thing I can think of is any of the changes to the backend changing how dragging and dropping images works? I drag them into the window instead of the attach button so they're in order but that's never made a difference before?

I have merged several of the images into one, there is now 9 images attached to the post. I am still being told to enter a message with no more than 10 images. I have now removed every single image from my post. I still get this error. Look I'm not saying that I am a genius but I think if it's saying that a post with no images is more than 10 then I think something might be wrong. It's a bit hard to see because of the blur but you can tell that the bottom is empty right?

Yea figured out what it was. Fucking emojis getting converted to whatever retarded site breaking thing automatically instead of being something unicode. Copied someone's post and the emojis in there did it, removed them and it goes straight back to working. Trannies can't kill the site but a single gooner on an emoji keyboard can.
 
The embeded chat for the Health & Fitness sub-forum is squashed so hard that it's realistically nigh impossible to use it.

Is there even a reason to keep this around? The only other embeded chats I could think of were the ones for Grift Wars (I think there was one) with the Gunt chat and Internet Famous with the Keno Kasino. Since those sub-forums are gone now, this makes this one the last surviving one which, to be honest, I don't think gets used compared to chat on the homepage or its dedicated tab (especially since it's the SPORTS!! chat, which I think is the least active chat out of all of them).
