I don't know if this is the right place to post this but pls help. I'm trying to link an image I uploaded to Imgur because I didn't want to upload it here cause its a large file but I keep getting this error

over and over again in the preview no matter how many different methods I try.
 
Kiwi Farms software makes it astonishingly easy.
You can simply copy and paste the image itself, either from another site or straight out of a picture editor.

If it's a big one, KF will give you the option to post a thumbnail.

If you paste, it automatically embeds it as the full image, but you can backspace over it, and scroll down to the bottom and insert a thumbnail instead, which you should usually do.

Also worth knowing is that pasting an image will attach it as a PNG... this is usually fine for screenshots, but if it has a lot of texture/detail it'll usually compress much better (and load much faster, as well as using less data for people on metered internet plans) if it's first saved as a JPEG and uploaded like that instead.

If you've no idea what that means, you don't really have to worry about it.
 
The "Latest Activity" tab on user profiles includes entries for user posts that include the post's text and images. This applies even if the images in a post are behind spoiler tags.

For instance, a post that looks like this:

Appears in the poster's Latest Activity tab as this:

1588200477570.png


This can occasionally lead to problems. Not sure how difficult the Latest Activity shit is to modify, though.

Request:

Add a way to show all replies to a post, if that's possible with this forum software.
In my estimation, that's one of the most useful features on image boards.
The reply count could also be factored into selecting the "highlight" posts, if that isn't the case already.

This would be a better fit as a thread in the Forum Discussion board, this thread is for reporting bugs rather than feature requests.
 
I assume this is because of some shit resolution size of my monitor (1920x1080) but when set to 100% zoom I get the mobile site layout. Setting it to 90% changes it back to desktop.

It's not really a big issue, just kind of annoying.
 
Hello, I'm unsure if this is a bug or a user incorrectly linked a file/etc.

In the ALR forum, Amber Says Dumb Shit on Social media, when I click the link in the first image, it takes me to a "cannot find the file specified" security error. At the top right it suddently thinks I'm MoonPie .

After this, trying to react to a post causes the same cached security error. F5 in Chrome and FireFox refresh works fine thereafter. It's not a common item but may be something untied in security somewhere, which I would not want to compromise anything else

You must have your system's scaling set to make everything huge, then. The site's media ruleset makes it switch from the mobile layout to the desktop layout at widths larger than 1280 pixels.

Decided to check and yeah, I forgot I changed it and just got used to it so I forgot to change it back. Thanks.

So yeah, don't mind my complain, I'm retard.
 
I'm getting a thing on mobile (android/brave) where I get a blue admin login screen for xenforo. After a few seconds it disappears and loads kiwifarms(.net) Not sure what is triggering it, trying to pay closer attention. Super helpful I know.
E: pretty sure it has something to do with clicking on the main kiwi logo

The "expand signature" text will sometimes obscure the post itself in TSIC. Expanding the signature makes the post readable, but there are some users with really fucking long signatures.
