Feedback Technical Grievances

Don’t know if this is a me issue or a theme issue but the kawaii theme is showing the onion address logo.

If I use it logged out or switch to default theme, the logo is back to normal.

It’s the same on desktop and mobile, across multiple browsers. 🤔

Edit: Curiosity killed the kawaii. :( I’m stuck with the booger green theme but at least the logo’s back to normal.

I like how this is just making Null a more effective admin. After this is all said and done he will be one of the best DDoS mitigators around. Also retards like me are forced to learn better opsec. Kiwi Farms is becoming like anti-bacterial resistant bacteria at this point.

We are like a weed to the troons that have tried to spray with herbicide, only to grow back more resistant than ever. If anything, they have helped us identify and correct the weak points in our domains.

Anyone else having DNS issues with ProtonVPN?

Edit: Looks like NetShield is the main issue. After that, it's just a matter of trying different nodes until one works.

Similar issues with NordVPN. Seems like a crapshoot depending on what datacenter the node is hosted in. That said, when it's working, the site seems more responsive than it was before Lucas waddled into view. Nice work Null.

I just wanted to give a rundown of the current state of logging in on the Onion in case anyone was waiting to reset their password using Onion only. I was just able to do the password reset using only the Onion address and log into my account.
I kept getting stuck at the two-factor authentication page after putting in my old credentials and completing a capcha several times. It would give me an error saying the site was not responding when it tried to redirect to the two-factor page. Today that is fixed.
1st attempt: After entering my old login credentials with no capcha required, then getting redirected to the two-factor authentication screen and entering in the code, the site redirected me to the homepage and I was not logged in.

2nd attempt: Same as the first but this time it correctly redirected me to the screen that tells you you must reset your password, and a reset request has been sent to your email. I followed the link and then had to sign in again with the new password.
It seems all the issues have been resolved on the Onion now. I'm just not sure if no capcha being required for login today is intended. Thanks for all your hard work Null.

anyone else having trouble changing their custom title? it won't let me save without putting in a valid invitation code which i shouldnt need because ive had my account for a year. i was able to reset my email and password so i think its only affecting that aspect specifically, oddly enough

As was mentioned up-thread(or maybe another thread) just try typing anything in the invitation code box, I used "12345".

I feel like he could basically set up his own non-faggy Cloudflare competitor.

I have some technical grievances:
I can't log in on brave on phone despite resetting all the data, changing vpn nodes, changing DNS to google dns and then back, etc. I think I retried my new password for about an hour as often as I could be assed to do the captcha.
On that note my next complaint is that the captcha only shows up after failing to log in.

Also login forms shouldn't distinguish between using a username/email that doesn't exist or it does exist and the password is wrong. All failed logins of any kind should basically return "it not work, try again".
And maybe this is a laddie issue but I can't enable 2fa because of "too many failed logins" which it said before my autistic hour of attempting to phonepost.

But i'd rather have a busted but available farms than a gone farms. So thanks and happy pizza days
Everything works now that I re-reset my password.

My advice about non-informative errors on login failure still stands (don't give the attackers info).

All said, I am not grieved but am instead pleased that the best site on the internet is still up.

Since every image is a thumbnail and archiving the OP to Keffals' thread only archives the thumbnails and not the individual images at their native resolution, I decided to start archiving the images themselves to archive.is, problem is some of them throw "not found(?)" errors.

These images in particular just refuse to archive.

Is it because of the DDOS attacks, or is there something particular about those images specifically? Other images save just fine, albeit they take forever.

The site seems to be running the best it ever has on laptop, but I can't get past the DDOS check on my phone on any browser. Brave will just just stay at the 'checking for robots' screen forever, and other browsers won't even load that much. Anything I could do to resolve this?

I've barely even noticed we're being DDoS'D. Pages won't load on occasion, but it's only for a small window of time, nothing like how bad it was before the downtime. Dunno what you're doing behind the scenes, but it works. Excellent work, Dear Leader.

We've got some real niggas putting in work now. The next step is to start bringing other shit up.
