Feedback Technical Grievances

The website is like one of those Animes Null hates. You know, the ones where every season a new big bad shows up, knocks the protagonist to the floor only for the hero get back up, stronger then ever. Just in time for an even bigger bad guy to show up next season with a bigger punch.

Rinse. Repeat.
its honestly kinda funny how these people are their own worst enemy. their constant attacks just result in null making the site stronger. they honestly would be so much better off doing nothing but their egos wont let them.

I've been getting this on the frontpage (not any other threads that I can tell) - it will have the lock symbol again upon a refresh, but then some variable amount of seconds later it will blip back over to being not secure. Sorry if this is something on my end, I don't know shit about computers.

I wonder if in time Null could use his expertise to launch a service that competes with Cloudfare and make money that way.

So every time I try to post on the clearnet version of this forum, the box where I actually type text is gone. It doesn't matter if its the reply box or if I'm starting a new topic... it just ain't there, so I can't type.

I had to use the onion version of the site to type this message.

https://tg.i-c-a.su/rss/kiwifarms Shove it in a real feed reader or read the raw data. I'm using Feeddemon for windows, it's unmaintained but works well enough for my purposes (provided I change the settings to open shit in Brave instead of IE.)
I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but the Telegram RSS feed seems to be down.

I'm really sorry you have to deal with this, bossman.
The message is different now:
Code:
{
    "success": false,
    "errors": [
        {
            "message": "This peer is not present in the internal peer database",
            "url": "http://tg.i-c-a.su:9504/rss/kiwifarms",
            "ts": 1682324131
        },
        "This peer is not present in the internal peer database"
    ]
}
Combined with Josh removing it from the channel description, I assume it kowtowed to petty trannies.

Actually, it just looks broken AF: https://tg.i-c-a.su/rss/BBCWorld

you might have a virus or other program that is injecting http content into an https website.

bruh :|

Well it isn't happening anymore, my scanner hasn't found anything yet, I don't think any of my browser extensions do anything related to HTTP, and I definitely haven't downloaded any Minecraft mods. Any recommendations for other actions I can take? You sure know how to spook a nigga, lmfao

The only thing that can cause that "not secure" message is either using http:// or browsing an https:// page with http:// content inline with it. I believe I have pretty strict security rules that do not permit that, and almost everything is self-hosted. However, certain programs and browser extensions can include http:// content if they're particularly shitty.

Still unable to access clearnet in North East US. It times out or gives completely broken CSS. Tried Ctrl-f5 and did not work. Cleared entire browser/cookie history. It seems everything is timing out.

It downloads the base html page but nothing else.

I am completely unable to reproduce this but have restarted the webservers with a change. My only guess is that you've somehow gotten your IP blacklisted. You in particular always seem to have incredible problems with attachments so I'm guessing you're using threads with hundreds of images in them or are on a shared network like a school.

When I was debugging why nothing was working for me just now it seemed like the browser sometimes got confused if it failed to fetch something, and assumed that the "about:blank" it replaced the failed fetch with was an insecure source.

Everything works just fine now, though.

The attachment issue had cleared up before the DDOS.

On clearnet it sends me through kiwiflare then when i hit login it errors out and i have to reload and go through kiwiflare again then any time i hit anything i have to reload and go through it agian. Finally it seems to just give up sending me through it.

This is on the main page not an image heavy thread though it is true I do spend most of my time on the image heavy ones.

Now its back to not downloading anything on clearnet.

dunno what to tell you. try a vpn. I am thoroughly unable to reproduce your issue.
That is what im using now to access. It just was strange that via my regular ISP it was not working right. It will let me browse now at least on it, but no images load.

You asked for pics not loading still. Here is an example:
https://uploads.kiwifarms.net/data/attachments/5069/5069068-bbc0c474b6de0bc8e5d3a4be8a27b21f.jpg
at this thread location:
doesn't load; looks like this ["parsing response failed", unable to upload pic, so no SS here sorry] later edit, inserting SS here:
like this2.JPG

there might be more, like
https://uploads.kiwifarms.net/data/attachments/5069/5069095-58339c9b4510b4347aa60ba4ee0707f3.jpg also on the same page; and the attachment within the next quote https://kiwifarms.net/attachments/5079753/

Also some pfp's aren't visible there, maybe it's those with gifs in them.
Other complaints have resolved like "nothing" really loading earlier in the day, won't post SS of those phenomena.

eta: Haven't resolved. I'll try VPN and tor etc.
Report and solution: VPN set to NL resolved the problem with the above links. Didn't try out other countries.
And the site is unbelievably fast now! Congratulations!

Also here a SS how it looks like if nothing really loads, which I wouldn't be able to upload without VPN:

like that3.png

ETA tor check: Tor with Brave stays in the http://kiwifarmsaaf4t2h7gc3dfc5ojhmqruw2nit3uejrpiagrxeuxiyxcyd.onion/bot-check?/
botcheck-phase, when I try to access the clearnet adress. It's looking cute but doesn't move on from there.
Maybe I overlooked some status update about the onion site, or am too much noob to Brave's settings, dunno:cute.JPG
Sorry, updating again: kiwifarms.net is now accessible via Brave / tor. Looks good, then tries to open Onion site, which is not loading.
