Feedback Technical Grievances

You're paying them money bro, find the support emails.
Hey, so, I use proton vpn and the .net site hasn't been working(the .st site works fine). I emailed their support about it. They sent back a list of common fixes, and apparently turning off protonvpn 'netshield' setting allows the .net site to work. I emailed them back and asked for them to take kiwifarms.net off their 'netshield' block list.

That's often the case. These VPNs use open source malware lists which the Kiwi Farms is continuously re-added to by FOSS trannies. You have to really bully the support if you know that's what's happening so these trannies get dealt with.

As of an hour ago PIA no longer is allowing me to access the farms on PC. It's working on some, but not all mobile devices that are running it. Wondering if it's similar to the Mullvad issue from the other day?

Edit: Seems to be working now.

There's something going on a few VPNs for sure in last hour. Kind of a weird. Mostly cleared now.

Can we get LibreOffice files like .ods and .odt (and .odp too, why not) added to the acceptable attachments list, for us autistic #fosslife retards? MSOffice files like .xlsx and .docx are already allowed so I don't think it'll be any worse security-wise.

In the meantime, you can always archive the file(s) in the 7z or ZIP format and upload that way.

I switched servers around a lot, but my mullvad issues didn't get any better. I tried both openvpn and wireguard, (didn't use any custom vpn clients, just linux tooling) played around with the configurations a bit, even switched over to TCP from UDP in case my provider has any shenenigans going on. I wanted to try different ports too then my mullvad sub ran out. Subbed to AirVPN (mostly wanted port forwarding back) and all my issues disappeared. Very strange.

On .net right now. The site is going through periods of extreme slowness then every once in a while things load really quick.

FYI, after having a similar hit or miss others are reporting on .net and .st throughout the day, NordVPN default DNS servers stopped resolving the farms for me altogether about an hour ago. Confirmed on multiple devices/networks that it's the VPN DNS in particular.

Switching to the Cloudflare public servers ( 1.1.1.1 ) did not fix, but the Google servers ( 8.8.8.8 ) are working.

Non-VPN over comcast also seems to resolve correctly currently.

.st is still working for me over NordVPN default DNS

COMPLAIN TO THEM. If you can confirm nslookup kiwifarms.net returns nothing from their NS, COMPLAIN TO THEM. Our authoritative servers 100% work.
I'm not suggesting you move here, but I've never had a problem in NZ. Is it worth digging into where our ISPs get DNS from?

(I have a sneaky theory about billionaires wanting unfettered access, but I can't back that up.)

Null doesn't have a great relationship with the NZ authorities.
That's why I didn't suggest he move here.

But if I have less problems accessing the farms than some poor fucker in the Land of the Free, maybe there's something that needs poking.

Edit: NZ is a weird place. Facial recognition has been trialed and dumped. Same for Automatic Number Plate Recognition, which is standard in the UK. There's a "Three strikes and out" law for illegal downloads, but since each filing for a potential strike carries a $26 filing fee, nobody has been struck once.

And the tax department is fine with me using cash and barter, so long as it doesn't hit the bank.

It's not perfect, but it's better than the UK, Europe, or California.

Edit edit: I take that back, it's all turned to custard.

The pozzed up block lists are generally with stuff like NetShield. Turn shit like that off. These are the pozloaded lists of "malware." We originally got on these with the cryptominer as the excuse (even though that was entirely voluntary), and relentless faggots just keep adding us back on the list for that even though it hasn't existed for years.

You should turn off these bullshit things anyway because they have a bunch of other dumb shit they block that you probably don't want blocked.
