Please... New Posts... it's very sick...
Watched Posts and New Posts seem broken. I hadn't seen anyone else noting it so thought it was just me. Using Brave with Mullvad or ProtonVPN to see these two pages doesn't work (except rarely) while everything else like direct links to threads seems to work fine. Edge and Opera do the same.

I get the same results with phone and a different computer with a fresh install of ProtonVPN.

Tor works fine.

Might be some DDoS specifically on those pages. Or we just have the same thing broken somehow.

The highlights in the US Politics thread just fucking disappeared for me.

EDIT: They're back now.

Videos have been broken either since the site went down last night or a little before that, I can't remember.
It's an audio-only file on Brave (I'm assuming other Chromium browsers as well but haven't tested):

It's an outright broken file on Firefox:

Happens with VPN on and off. I checked mobile and the videos seem to be playing fine there (I use Mullvad there too), so I guess it's an issue with my computer?

I cannot refresh a particular thread without getting the, "The requested page could not be found." message popping up. Any other thread and I can refresh it just fine, but if I want to laugh at the fresh posts on Colton's thread I have to click on the most recent thread activity in my alerts to get it to load. Is this a problem on my end that I'm just too retarded/Luddite-lite to suss out?

Embedded YouTube links don’t seem to be working. The thumbnail shows, but clicking it just says “log in to prove you’re not a bot” but can’t see any option to do that and don’t want to log in anyway.
Mobile browsing, with vpn.

How do I make kiwi video load faster? I don't think it's being throttled by my ISP specifically, but I'd be interested in a solution besides using TOR.
Specifically, they've always been slow for me but people seem to not take note of this even when they queue them up on the cytube channel. A 15 second video will be finished for them by the time the first piece of footage buffers for me.

I noticed that if you hit the site for the first time (i.e. your browser has no cache for KF), the favicon gets stuck as the default icon (at least on Firefox) instead of the KF logo. I think this is because the favicon returns the challenge page initially and that's what gets cached. Ctrl+F5 doesn't seem to fix it, but manually going to https://kiwifarms.st/favicon.ico did. Could the favicon be added to the challenge whitelist, or could it be directly served from whatever's serving the challenge (in case it creates an attack risk by hitting XenForo or something)?

Fwiw I have found that downloading videos and watching them locally is often much faster than trying to stream directly from the Farms. As in: you can download the video, watch it, and delete it in less time than watching the stream.

I've noticed I cannot reply or quote some posts. Is that normal? I haven't logged in a while and the people I can and cannot quote seems arbitrary. I'm on TOR.
By design. Here's how to hack that particular gibson:

Josh's autism was triggered by people quoting giant blocks but only responding to a sentence or two, among other things. And I don't even blame him.

Since I'm feeling like an asshole today. Go up to the upper right, type "cant quote" into the search box and pick one of the 372 other times this was asked and follow the directions.

On mobile, you can’t un-anchor the chat without switching to the autism thunderdome chat because the buttons overlap. It’s a very minor issue. Just a little inconvenient, I thought I would report it because I doubt it’s intended to be designed that way.

That goes without saying, but I'm seeing people who obviously aren't struggling like I am to watch video files from here. My connection is first-world. Is it really that much faster through TOR?
