it was not retarded you're just fucking gay. i disabled it because we weren't hurting so bad (also it converted the original instead of just the thumbnail).
 
Next forum software put the thumbnail and webp code in the caching layer. Reduced the number of objects in storage at my employer by 50% and the additional cpu cost was pretty low on the cache tier. Of course this depends on how good the cache locality is since they weren't persisted beyond cache object lifetime(LRU eviction policy).
 
When phonefagging, it seems if I am adding a link and press insert, post reply behind it is also pressed and my reply is added halfway through a post. I've tested this a few times, tapped really quick so I know I'm not double pressing, it's consistent. Or am I just retarded?

I think it must depend on resolution or screen size then, your insert button is distanced away from the reply button so I guess you wouldn't have the issue. I'm pressing that insert button and it seems to both insert the link and press post reply at the same time. My web knowledge ends at basic HTML but is it something with the post reply button input being layered on top of the link popup?

Increase the smallest width in dev settings (android) or turn the phone to landscape mode.
Another way to avoid this issue is to not phonefag.

Null is rearranging things so they are more logical and easier to find content you want. There are so many overlapping lolcows that sometimes they had their own sections but logically they should have been in a different section, so the hope is it's easier to find stuff.

But loading a bunch of text and links shouldn't slow your PC down, that's a bit strange.
 
The link to the newest post in Prime Cuts isn't working.

See how "8 minutes ago" is in white? That means I can't click it and go to that post.

Compare it to Lolcows:

Notice that "1 minute ago" is in orange, which indicates it's a link. Clicking it will send me to that post.

@Null video attachments not displaying correctly on Firefox mobile on iOS. No extensions bc walled garden. Local archives and images ok. I’ll check Safari (lol I keep getting a server error so I can’t see the site but whatever fuck this browser anyways) and Chrome (same error as Firefox) too. Ok on Firefox and Chrome on PC.
