Feedback Technical Grievances

Hey boss: whenever I try to change the signature under my avatar on Brave browser, it prompts me to input an invitation code. I've refreshed, made a new window, signed-out-logged-in, same prompt every time to [Please fill out this field]. Didn't get that request when I changed the avatar itself back from spooky month. Help is appreciated.

Can confirm the above. Can't change anything in the profile section because it keeps asking for an invitation code.

was helping a friend with error153 for youtube. you need to add this header to the embedded iframe referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin"

you can get a full iframe output from any video by hitting share -> embed -> tick "enable privacy-enhanced mode". this gives you an alternate youtube domain, youtube-nocookie.com. here's an example

looks like null previously added a custom embed for Kick so modifying the youtube embed for this shouldn't be too difficult. maybe.
 
Why do I need an invitation code to change the text under my picture? I get new users require it to register, but it feels a bit ridiculous I need one just to change the flavor text.

It appears this issue was solved above and I did not read like a retard. Still, it's weird.
 
I'm starting to see random but semi-regular (1-3 / hour) bad gateway error pages. Across devices (Win11/Android), Brave. Flipping VPN didn't seem to make a difference. So far, refreshing has "fixed" it.

The entire Prime Cuts board is like that and has been since the Gleichschaltung, doesn't matter what thread or subforum it is. I mentioned it a while ago and don't want to get yelled at for bringing it up again but it triggers my autism.
 
I have edited our referral system to fix an issue where an invitation code was needed (even if it were gibberish) to change user fields while in invite-only mode. If you still have trouble editing your profile let me know.

Yea, the post box not clearing after posting from time to time seems to have reappeared. And many of us likely go "Oh, I thought I posted that" and then click it again.
 
Pasting screenshots is broken for me, most likely because of the Grok code, but Tor may be a factor.

As you can see, after it's pasted it's extremely small, and it's impossible to increase the size, though it's possible to decrease it.
Removing it and inserting it again doesn't fix it. Deleting the image and pasting it again also doesn't fix it.
Another edit: looks like it's only small when I'm typing the post, but it retains the shrunken size if I attempt to resize it.
I'm sorry if this is confusing, I'm confused as well. :(

Edit: seems like if I edit the post or even just post my message some images work? I'm not exactly sure, but the image to the left works fine while the other two are extremely small and can't be enlarged.
