Problem: Content is dry while Bossman is locked up. I want to go back and relive some of the big run-ups and crash outs, but there's no easy way to find those in the thread. The thread is too large and there aren't many manual highlights.
Solution: Implement a posts-per-day graph for every thread. I'm imagining something similar to the graph that Archive.org has for "times a website has been saved." You can even be fancy and add purple or green sections of each bar to indicate a post that has been highlighted.

Clicking on one of those lines would take a user to the first post of that day. This would allow users to easily see "the thread popped off on [date], must have been some good content." More good content will be postmarked as users use this to find more content, meaning more purple and green bar graph sections will show up on the graph, creating a loop of making a thread easier to navigate.
