Feedback Technical Grievances

You browser has its own
The issue persists across several browsers and several devices. Is it possible this is just how XenForo works? Asking Copilot, it says logged out users see timestamps in the forum's default server time zone. Looking at my account preferences I see the correct time zone is set (don't remember if this is part of the registration process), so I guess when logged out it falls back to the server default?

dunno then bud seems to be just you. if i had to guess you installed a browser extension that sets your timezone to UTC-0 (GMT) to anonymize it. This is common with anonymizing browsers. If it's "across several browsers" but your computer clock or browser clock is wrong or you use anonymizing tools that hide your timezone, you will get the same effect. This issue does not occur for me anywhere. I cannot help you.

The default timestamps will always be relative to your BROWSER OR SYSTEM TIME UNLESS YOU DO NOT HAVE JAVASCRIPT ENABLED

None of that is applicable, plus I just tested it on yet another device and the issue persists. Oh well I'll just suffer, thanks in any case

I'm not sure if this is the right thread, but I have a question. I'm using Tor browser for anonymity to access the site, but I prefer clearnet domain when it's available to onion one. The problem is, my browser doesn't give me that choice and automatically redirects me to onion domain of KF whenever I'm trying to access kiwifarms.st. It's very unstable for me, so it's a pain in the ass to browse.
I checked browser settings, apparently there used to be a switch for it but it's not there anymore. Does anybody know how to disable redirection?

I checked advanced settings, but I don't think it's any of these either.

I can no longer format my text, add media links, and trying to paste clipboard images fails silently. Is something going on sitewise?

It's a you problem. Scroll back in this thread for the 2000 other times it's been asked.
Maybe this thread should have a FAQ pinned to the top of every page? This is a 634-page thread, and, for example, it's not obvious what search terms to use for a problem like this.

Featured headlines usually link to specific posts. Try clicking the thread from your watched list (or navigate to A&N).

If it's happening with other threads, it's probably because you're navigating there from a user-posted hyperlink to a post.

I’m having a similar issue, if I click a new post notification on my feed it will take me to the last post on that page instead.

Seems like a similar sort of issue.

I don't know if this is fitting for this thread, but in comments, the lower right corner does not have the proper corner radius (I assume its probably 1px or 2 px) :-3 just a small detail I noticed!

Just tested it since you replied to me and sent me a notif. Clicking it sent me to your post, with 2 posts further down the page.

Perhaps it's a browser specific issue. What are you using?

>be reading a thread discussion
>click on next page
>there's a random post in the middle of the discussion with a bunch of videos
>not interested, don't click or watch any of them
>check data manager app
>200MB used in the past hour

It would probably be wise just from s hosting-cost perspective to not push video data unless and until a user clicks play, but is there a "data saver" option somewhere in preferences?
