Another thing about the quote feature, though it is probably an intended function, is that the "add to quote" prompt doesn't appear whenever any of the text you highlight is itself within quote tags. I assume this is intentional to prevent retards from turning every page into a slow, infinitely scrolling, barely coherent shitpile full of redundant recursive quotes. The problem is that users who do know how to use the quote tags responsibly have legitimate cases to sparingly use quotes within quotes. Mainly it comes up when certain users who post top-quality content dumps use nonspecific quote tags to quote offsite posts or in conjunction with spoilers to organize everything.

I guess I'm asking if it would do any harm to maybe allow for selecting text within quote tags to still give you the "add to quote" popup, but only for text within quote tags that do not have the pointer that links to another specific post/user on the Farms? I can't computer so I have no idea if implementing a workaround like this is practical or possible, it's just something I was thinking about.
 
Low priority, but pfps seem to be intermittently breaking on refresh. Running on Firefox.

Is there any particular reason why AVIF images can't be attached and inserted into posts? The format's already used for sponsors and the footer kiwis, so it seems odd to me.
Said kiwis can already be inserted by URL without issue too. Tried that with one of the sponsor images as well, but that turns into a giant missing-image icon upon previewing lol

Noticed the inability to attach them for a while, but I was thinking recently that it'd be cool if I could put animated AVIFs into posts. Finally figured to ask about this.

I've been getting Tartarus verifying prompts extremely often on Brave these last couple of days. Sometimes in DMs it's multiple times a minute. Usually manifests that I can't react to a post and have to refresh the page.
 
Hey guys sorry if this isn't the right place but I'm trying to upload videos to my thread I just made and it just shows up like this as a blank space as shown in the screenshot below. I uploaded from my laptop as mp4 files, and thought it was an issue with my laptop. Then a kind kiwi farmer archived them for me, also mp4, and it still shows up blank. Any suggestions?

As you probably know by now, Tor connections involves six intermediary connections called a circuit, and if any of those connections are bad, you don't connect. This doesn't mean my Tor hidden service is down, it means you need to change circuit. I've verified it is up and I don't appreciate the fucking tone.
