The site isn't embedding YouTube properly (or at least as easily as it used to).

It used to embed these automatically. It still works if you use the embed option in the menu, but it used to work just by pasting the url.

OTOH maybe it's not a bad idea. It's made a lot of threads less busy not to have to load a YT viewer for every post with a link in it. It's still entirely possible to embed manually.

Embedded Youtube videos are now taking the whole width of the message pane. Is that an intended change?
 
99.9% sure it's related to imgur hosting, but the images of "Reality" in the random.txt (https://i.imgur.com/spZY3I2.png) are broken

There's a lot of weird image shit going on. The background is solid black for me (no more Sonichu comics), and images over a certain size and usually animated instead show up as a tiny red box that you need to click on before they'll show up.

A while back I made a complaint of shifting background images in relation to opened spoilers. I finally got around to a gif. Big.

Sometimes you have to scroll over the spoiler button for it to shift (like here), sometimes when you open the thing the background starts shifting rapidly on its own. It happens randomly.
 
Technical question ; how do I nuke somebody's router for insulting me?
 
I've been noticing a few minor issues in the past week.
1) some images wont load until I click on the red outlined box that will say "img"
2) minor issue with searching for threads. I tried to search for a Hugh Hefner thread about his death before I posted mine, only to then have the Culture post finally appear.
3)Odd problem with notifications telling me about replies an hour or so after they've been made. Though I've had that problem off and on for just over a month now.

This is on Chrome. I haven't checked Firefox yet as I stopped using it due to it being too slow now days.

Edit: I checked Firefox, seems to be just Chrome. Once I'm back from my walk I'll see if it's an issue with an extension causing the problem.

Edit 2: Turned off every extension, still have the issue with photos.

Lolcow Wiki's finally back up, but I am unable to log in. It claims that Xenforo is having an issue.
 
Pages seem to be taking several minutes to load. Plus it looks like the 'home' site map line image is gone, it's just a one, which is fucking with the format of the other tabs in the line.
 
The arrows on mobile for scrolling to the tops and bottoms of pages are missing. iOS safari. I never used them but I'm wondering if them disappearing is intentional.

Jk now that it's gone I never realized how much I use it. Help.
 
The up arrow in the quote field is only semi-working. If I click the arrow directly, it usually doesn't work.

But for some reason, if I right-click it and open it in a new tab, it takes me to the quoted post.

So, for instance, on post #492 above, the link in the quote is https://kiwifarms.net/goto/post?id=2646789#post-2646789

If I just click it, it doesn't do dick. If I right click it and "open in new tab," it takes me right there. It's probably pretty minor compared to slow page loads and other shit so deal with it whenever I guess.
