Feedback Technical Grievances

Not a technical issue, but there's a typo in the Happenings guidelines:

I have a question. I'm confused in regards to posting articles. So we no longer can post articles in full?

Essentially now we should just shorten them right?

I'm seeing some odd behavior on the "alert bell" icon the past couple days. When I get a notification, the red number badge will appear for a split second on the bell, then disappear (as opposed to remaining until I click it) The title bar also won't reflect the notification count anymore.

If I click the bell I can still see the items that triggered the notifications, so it looks like only the part about displaying the "alert" is broken.

I'm on Firefox 79 on Windows. I have the ABP plugin but with no special logic added for KF.

I suddenly got an "Active user has changed" error. What does that mean?
I logged out and in again in case it's some session hijack shenanigans.

I apparently got added to a group conversation called "yeah Maskull has a hateboner for me" that I don't care about. Judging by recent posts in the conversation, others did too, and it has over 1000 participants. There is a "Leave" button, and clicking it pops up a dialog box with two options ("Accept future messages" and "Ignore future messages"), but no matter which one I select, the box doesn't close after clicking "Leave" in the box, and I don't actually leave the conversation. Popping open the inspector shows that the AJAX call happening after clicking the second "Leave" is resulting in a 500 error.

That's exactly what happened to me. I thought it was my computer for a moment. It won't allow me to leave after I click the option for no more updates.

I'm assuming they're mass inviting anyone just to be a pain in the ass but I've absolutely no idea why Leave is not working. Possibly high volume of people trying to jam through it to get out?

I didn't think of that. It could be the reason. Now that I know others are having the same problem, I could see that being why.
