Yes, someone else in a thread I frequent reported the same, too.

I started a PM test thread, we can get original URL’s & archive.md links to work in message, in the same post, & the archive md links go live once someone quote/ replies, your og post, too, in normal threads.

Hope this helps the mod or ooperator to fix. Let me know if anyone wants an invite to the pm test thread I made, if it helps fix this bug.

for a second I thought image embeds were also broken, but it turned out BBcode had toggled itself on. and now that I've switched it off, it seems to be staying off by default like normal.


editing to avoid double-posting, but when I just pasted a URL into a thread on its own, then went to edit the post, it appears like so:

but it's still not an actual link after hitting save.

Same, still having all archive link issues from the last week, too.

Thanks for update. Maybe we should tag some mods.
I don’t want to bug anyone, but it’s really looking like a site bug, that started after July 10th.
I’ll give it a little more time, thinking they are aware, so I’ll be patient.
Any changes will report. :semperfidelis:

If you find yourself actually blocked from a site when using a VPN, and don't mind connecting to it directly, you can use split tunneling to exclude certain apps from it, and connect from a different browser.

Just checked again, (they went live earlier, as described just upthread,) now they are showing “unavailable” again. Noticed in some cases, there were no archives, went to YouTube, vids still up, not deleted, etc. My browser & priv net is lookin’ normal.
Don’t want to clog thread. Reporting that the instance of the vid links reviving, has now reverted back to unavail status. It’s not all vids, only some, they are embedded, but not archived.

For some reason nothing happens when I click on the text formatting options on the reply box, only the "More options..." button but what it reveals is not clickable either. I can hover my mouse on some options and it highlights the buttons, but still nothing.

Happening on Brave, Windows 10.
 
For the last two days or so, on mobile Firefox the last couple of sentences of posts aren't showing. If I highlight them they become visible but at the same time, the sentences above the highlighted sections then disappear. It's only mildly irritating, but I thought I'd better report it in case it's happening to other people.
