Is password resetting broken? After doing the captcha the prompt just resets and I get timed out.

Given my complete incompetence at shit like this, can somebody tardsplain to me why archive.is/md/etc. posts as a link sometimes and not at other times? And maybe what I should do to fix it, if it is in fact something I'm doing?

https://archive.md/V7DtC - was just posted here, but I've noticed this as an on-going issue for around a week. Sometimes you get a clickable link, other times not. Very confusing.

edit: Is the site automatically changing archive-dot-is links to archive-dot-md ones? I'm confident I copy/pasted this link:

but it was posted as dot-md, not dot-is.

Very odd.

Read up thread just a bit, you’ll see plenty of weird problems with archive.any of the suffixes, linking, not creating live links, .md versus .is, etc etc. It started around July 10th-13th, though has noticeably gotten a good deal better.

I’ve got nothing atm on the auto, end url change. (Iirc, they usually categorize different media types, but it’s not detrimental; seen photos on .md & articles on .is, before, vs the usual.)

The ability to post a link, & an archive.md link, at the same time, in the same post, seems to have become much more functional, lately though. It’s still luck if the draw, but working way better than 3 weeks ago. Hope this helps a bit. Maybe someone w/ more info can weigh in more informedly.

I cant see youtube videos when browsing on TOR, anyone having the same issue?

I only get a blank space, not even the code/URL to the video, weird

Only happens when using the kiwi onion address though

It has been a year since this was last brought up on this thread. If it is because of abuse it is 20 pp maybe enable higher pp for accounts with a few karma or a few days old.
I know there are endless scroll plugins but they are not the same, and plus when you want to reply mid-thread they can malfunction.
Come on, please consider giving the people that are heavy readers the ability to satiate their needs much faster.
 
Dumb question: If I want to post something NSFW, what do I need to do beyond marking it as spoiler.

I think we're supposed to add [ private ] [ /private ] tags before and after the image as well, but I, well, forgot. And can't find where @Null spelled this requirement out.

FWIW, all I was trying to do was post some pulp fiction paperback covers I saw from the 1950s through 1970s where some had bewbs into the Randoms Pictures thread. Nothing super hardcore, but something I'd classify as NSFW

1. dox on first page
2. nudes of lolcows
