He hangs out a lot with a guy I really enjoy, aging wheels. I really hope that isnt a sign that the aging wheels guy is also some crypto libtard on the troon pipeline.

I don't know how anyone took this retard seriously. His femme voice and smug sense of superiority annoyed me instantly.

We worked for a contractor like this once, former tech guy who moved into building. Retard thought that every customer buying a house would want all the latest and "greatest" bells and whistles, regardless of whether or not it made sense/fit the budget/could be completed on schedule. People like that jackass and Technology Connections don't realize that there is no perfect universal solution and while not perfect tried and tested methods are usually the best bet when the outcomes are unknowable.

Fuck I actually watch this guys stuff, a lot of the engineering history is very interesting (yes I know, puzzle pieces). I could handle the gay affectations so long as I spaced out his videos... but now that I know that the Adams Family extra looking mother fucker is on Bluesky wishing a Somali would rape him and stuff his corpse into the big red fridge or whatever... Well, I just can't take his food dehydrator reviews seriously anymore.

... Though I guess he truly was an expert on Betamax(ing) after all.

I stopped watching his solar panel video when he started talking about how batteries were infinitely recyclable, I didn't even know there was a full on spergout about ICE and Drumpf at the end of the video wtf.

People's opinion on wind turbines, solar panels and nuclear energy are the ultimate litmus test.

I legit switched off his renewable energy video after he started trooning over "muh heckin brown people in vans". Shame, i thought he made some decent points up until then. I always had a feeling in the back of my head about this and I hoped so hard against it only for it to be so.
Some points are good, but there's a lot he missed. I live in an area who's government invested heavily into green energy a decade ago. None of the equipment lasted and we're still paying it off despite it no longer being in use. 'it's free money lol' doesn't hold up to reality. And he really doesn't understand the wear and tear on equipment left outside 24/7. There's a reason he switched the comments to subscribers only.

I enjoy some of that guys videos, but it was always obvious to me that he's a faggot. This doesn't come as a surprise.

Edit: lmao, that video was worse than I expected. I was expecting some light homosexuality, not full blown bug-chasing AIDS! The only far-left thing he didn't talk about, surprisingly, was trannies. He may save that as a surprise for when he troons out.

I liked his video on traffic lights. It's gay he needs to post his political sperging but I enjoyed his autistic sperging about niche infrastructure technologies.

Techmoan and LGR are better on that. TC was ok on it, and especially on the tape format wars. And things like flash bulbs and crap. And old film. But when he starts up on the 'energy and enviro crisis' stuff he goes insane and rants about how Jimmy Carter was all great like this.

clittyleaking 'bout ICEdeities instead of 'nother 30 minute video about SNCA even doe ill watch anyways will earn xim good goy points from xisters but the trvke is nobody's tuning into this autist to hear regurgitated talking points 'bout [CURRENT TOPIC]. alas xe will feel emboldened to continue shoving these humiliation rituals into more videos 'til it'll be all the channel is 'bout

What was his opinion on nuclear? Does he see it as inferior to renewables?

I didn't hear him mention anything about nuclear in the 17 minute video null posted. I didn't watch the full one. You can be pretty sure that he would be perfectly aligned with whatever the most popular lefty opinion about it is. It was the case for anything else he brought up. The salivating over somali niggers was especially shocking and disgusting.

Wait what? What did he say about Somalians?

Saw this guy on the front page again and it rekindled my hatred of the guy. He does not understand business logistics and will sooner blame greed than research why things are actually the way they are. For example, he blames greed for why heat pumps are expensive rather than them being less popular and more liable to break under warranty.

I don't think he even mentions it because he thinks the battery problem is more or less solved as of now (it isn't), so renewables are fine to put into use right now. He's mostly focused on residential power so industrial power generation isn't even on his radar.

Same, the whole video "If you comment"But what about the batteries" I'll know you didn't watch the video1"
Get to the part about the batteries and he's so wrong that anyone who has knows anything about batteries will still comment it.

I'm trying to remember if he said anything, I think he views it positively but not optimally, which shows just how ignorant he is on the subject, but I'm trying to remember how and why I got that impression.

Iirc he’s fine with existing nuclear power plants and is ok with it as a stop-gap measure, but he’d prefer everyone to go all in on renewables.

Also, I think his starlink hate, apart from Elon hate, could be due to him trying to use it in an urban environment. I’ve heard it can suck pretty badly in an urban environment and/or when there are a lot of users in 1 specific area trying to use it. That said, didn’t it help out with people in Ukraine and Iran? Very said to see Mr. Progressive being against people having access to The Internet!

Robert's never really let any opinions on politics slip on either channel, seems to have an unusually large (for a millennial) network of male friends with healthy interests and hobbies, and he left software development to do car and woodworking videos on YouTube and seems to get out of the house and "touch grass" a lot. I think he's pretty safe from trooning and is just a genuine goofy goober. Only major risk factors he has is the emotional trauma of having his long-term common law wife cheat on him and take the kids afterwards, and his major depressive disorder.

I think he's also somewhat leftist, with him incorporating more and more EVs into his channel, but maybe not as much a political zealot but more of a technical autist that's into the electronics and technology of EVs and alternative energy, so he could also be pulled into full blown religious green energy zealotry if he gets enough convincing on behalf of his friends (and the one friend he does videos with is Technology Connections).
Also LOL @ tach connections not understanding most of what he's preaching about in his latest renewable energy video. Like when he says that he could power his entire energy use of his EV with just 5 solar panels on his roof. LMAO, as if he lives at the equator where there are no seasons and the sun is always blasting 24/7. He totally ignores the cost of the initial investment into buying the EV and solar panels and all accompanying electronics.
He then goes on to show proof that solar panels really are better by showing a couple solar farms that are near him. He says that they wouldn't build them if it wasn't a good business idea. LOL, as if nobody in the past has ever made a bad business decision. Or that no business was only made viable purely by subsidies or loans with money that was stolen from others.
Okay, he talks that ethanol from corn doesn't make sense, and yeah obviously, every mechanic or enthusiast with a vintage car will agree that ethanol doesn't make economical sense and also hurts the fuel system if left to sit for more than a month, and that it shouldn't be added to gasoline at all.
He also says that gasoline from oil isn't a renewable resource. There's no proof that it isn't, in a long enough timeframe, new oil will be generated with more biomass getting trapped underground and cooked into crude oil and gas. Technically it's a renewable, as it's the product of biomass - trees, plants and animals - that absorbed solar energy and turned it into carbon and energy containing biomass. That biomass then got buried and cooked, if you believe that theory about how oil is made.
There's another theory that oil is somehow created in a continuous process from stuff either seeping down from the surface or coming up from even further underground, and that if we didn't use it at a rate higher than it's being produced, it would replenish itself. Still a theory that hasn't been proven or disproven iirc.

Edit: and if y'all's limit of car guy youtube is Aging Wheels (which is at the bottom of my list tbh) you should check out better channels like Vice Grip Garage, Uncle Tony's Garage, Dead Dodge Garage, Junkyard Digs (& Junkyard Mook), Pole Barn Garage, Pine Hollow Auto Diagnostics, South Main Aauto, Wrenching With Kenny, Watch Wes Work, Rainman Ray's Repairs, Hoovie's Garage, Fuel Injection Sucks, etc.
