I used to watch this faggot when he was covering more complex tech back in the day. I stopped watching when his videos started to be purposely longer and more annoying, for a while, I had a feeling he's making videos about literally whatever he finds in his house just to churn out another video for the youtube advertising cycle.

His takes about energy are also biased, which is another reason I stopped watching them. As he started to leave the small area of expertise with newer videos, the quality and the factuality of them dropped by a large factor. When it comes to energy, especially renewable energy and nuclear, the various political options are muddying the water so badly you can only have a reasonable discussion with people with a strong engineering background (and a down to earth approach to politics). These discussions usually end up on agreeing that we have the technology but the politicians are too brain dead to use it.

I was surprised and I chuckled when I saw this guy on the front page, I skipped the original youtube video to find the moment and get some context but it appears that the context is just an autistic meltdown how the fascists are going to kill me any day now. Some people really need a feedback loop, otherwise they just keep on rambling to the camera with nobody to stop them. His approach can be summed up as "How come the baddies are winning, I thought I was perpetually right and omnipotent", yet he is unable to process that the world is really much more complex system than he could ever imagine. Hence the spergout and pulling hair.

I enjoyed his older videos but I will say I stopped watching when he sperged out about how gas stoves should not exist and how cooking on an electric is so much better. Total nonsense if you aren’t a Rekieta-tier home cook.

My only experience with this guy is watching a video about how we need to switch to LED traffic lights NOW NOW NOW and then an immediate follow-up video where he addresses a hundred reasons why LED traffic lights are actually inferior, then cope about why he's still right.

He's great when it comes to consumer electronics. But, good god he's retarded. Regular citizens care about their cost of living and their safety. Especially in the midwest, where people don't wanna see their states wind up like California or what have you.

He's right on two things: Republican energy policies are ass and Dems are too corporate. But, at least the Republicans are somewhat trying. The mainstream Democrat position is to be concerned with everyone BUT American citizens. And that is unacceptable.

It's not fascism to want to prioritize your own citizens over legions of third worlders.

Ain’t no way. He proudly stated in one of his videos that he uses variable rate electrical billing so that he can run the temperature down into the 50s in house at night when it’s cheaper so that the air conditioning doesn’t run in the day. No woman would tolerate freezing her tail off in such an environment.
 
I just discovered this guy last week and have been putting his videos on as background noise while painting or Vidya. I put on the "You're being lied to about renewable energy" yesterday but very quickly turned out off because he was lying to me about renewable energy.

Not surprised to find out he goes on such an off topic politisperg crash out at the end of it though. For the few minutes I watch of it, he was really showing his ignorance of how things work outside of his walls. He definitely thinks the electricity that comes out of the walls is magic and can just be plugged into a tree and meet all the worlds demands. He sees Bill Nye with his suburban home that is covered in solar panels and at the right time with everything turned off can put power back into the grid, and thinks the same can apply to apartment complexs with 10x the people in the foot print.

He's the kind of eco-retard that sees a huge field that was leveled, fenced off, covered in solar panels and producing a portion of the nearby neighborhoods power as "environmental". That sees a forest the size of a medium sized town flooded behind a dam and think they are saving the earth.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's being funded by Bill Gates, like Kurgenzat, for propaganda. They too say "They aren't being funded to spread political messaging) but received a shit ton of grant money to produce "educational videos" that are pushing a political message. It's the exact same kind of intellectual dishonesty that filtered me off of Kurgenzat.

I put his latest crash out on as background noise while doing some carpentry work a week or two ago. I figured farms attention was imminent. I think it's funny that he refers to the current administration as crying children or something whilst actively sniveling and being a child.

These are just two out of many mistakes and lies he told in that video. He was so confidently holding his hands on that solar panel and saying that every part of it can be completely recycled. Sure, but at what cost? Each one of the parts can be easily recycled when they're separate, but not when they're glued together. As is, it needs to be ground up and dissolved or incinerated. Nobody has been able to make it economically viable yet.
