Necroing this thread to report two things:
First, it looks like Teddy Boy Greg is still alive. His VK account (Russian twitter-clone) account is active.

But Teddy Boy is no longer part of Espanola. T
he military unit - official name 88th Reconnaissance and Assault Brigade - made of football hooligans has been disbanded in October. The leader was transferred to a Naval Infantry unit (Read: regular army that reports to an admiral not a general) and took the guys he liked the best with with him. The others were sent to units as required by Russian high command. No word on what happened to Greg.

However, Espanola's (and thus Greg's) former commander Stanislav "Spaniard" Orlov was shot in his house in Crimea by masked gunmen who were almost certainly Russian security operatives. The reason for this, and Espanola's disbandment, was Orlov was caught stealing. Not only selling loot from the battlefield or issued gear, or using donations collected from retards overseas, he was straight up pocketing government funds sent to pay troops and buy equipment.

The extra cherry on this sunday is that the reason Orlov's scheme was exposed was due to his chief off staff cheating on his gay lover with other men, and his boyfriend dropping a dime on him.
