I have night bruxism - I had a custom hard guard made by my dentist. It fit great but it was contrary to my grinding. I felt I would fucking crack my teeth on it. I switched back to the store bought self mold silicon ones, and I melt them so much I just get them really close fitted to my teeth so it feels like less is on there but enough to not bite through. Much better to me.
