I don’t have the ages on lock but I knew he was at least close to that by now. Even for 49, it’s a bit much too transplant Heihachi’s forehead onto him. He’s been 35 looking since Tekken 1.
 
They need to make a game that retcons everything after 2 and have a more stretched out time line of events because right now we've had like five King of Iron Fist tournaments in a handful of years.

Everything is fine until Tekken 5, which was the beginning of the end to any coherence and sanity the plot had.

The chronology from what I remember is this:
Tekken +2 years = Tekken 2 +19 years = Tekken 3 +2 years = Tekken 4.

After the fourth game, everything took place in the span of a few months.

You know what, you're right. I didn't play a whole lot of Tekken 4 because TTT was still going strong back then.

It's why I hate the last few entries. You never. Ever. Add content and then yank it in the sequels. Tekken Ball is so fucking overdue to get brought back. Even Tekken Force being shitty should always be in there.
 
Tekken 8 is reminding me of how SF5 looked to me pre-launch. This game is gonna suck dick on launch, casual fans will jump ship immediately, and the game will be carried by the pros, TOs, and commentators who are too deeply invested to pull out until Namco releases an updated version of the game
 
At least they fixed his face. He looked weird in T7.

The kazuya trailer saved the game for me, Jin is looking pretty good too
 
If Tekken 8 were to have an open world, H2H online matchups like SF6 implemented, then I guess they were trying to make their own version of that game but something that will stick out a little longer.

That’s just my theory.

I haven’t played TTT in a long time and even I’m shocked that there was bowling in that game. Maybe I should check it out again if the new installment gets mediocre user reviews.
