She kind of looks younger and you are right it does seem like her breasts are smaller or maybe they are just covered by her coat.

ANNA MY BELOVED! Can't believe they gave her the midlife crisis deep-red dyke hair yet also made it good. By god I hope I can color her like I did in T7.
Mr Tekken said she's the most requested and generally beloved character while being played by absolutely no one. My primary issues with fighting games is that I've no character I want to learn "despite their faults". That drive to play the big booba lady no matter how shit she is. Yet I also don't prefer gameplay to looks entirely, so it's a fucking unicorn to find one that has the looks, the combat, and isn't a top 3 character. Anna was that in T7. By the nine I'd give tekken a chance if just for my beloved.
Also the absolute sass in this choreographed kick.

Not sure about her redesign, but it's ok I guess. Also, quite curious why S2 isn't out yet ? Are they going to shake up the gameplay ? Still would like to get back into the game but no character is really doing it for me.

I’m wondering about something we’re seeing in the trailer. Is the purple effect on Nina some sort of debuff from the rocket launcher or is it just heat looking weird?

I would assume some kind of poison. So either slowly depleting health or some other debuff.

I watched the Tekken talk, things they announced was:
1. Anna
2. Can now Heat Burst while in a stance
3. Can start crouching after a heat engager
4. Removal of a lot/all armored heat engagers (vague wording)
5. Sidesteps can be buffered to make them easier
6. Can sidestep into foreground from crouch
7. Rank reset + 8 new ranks (GoD 1-7 + GoD infinite)
8. Ghost vs Ghost stuff
S2 is coming March 31st
There will be a bunch of balance changes, but the only ones I'm aware of is Zafina getting an install, Azucena getting stance after WR 3,2 and Dragunov's SNK 4 not hitting grounded

Unfortunately no, we won't know any of the actual character changes until March. Only reason we are aware of those 3 changes is because they could be seen during the demo of other mechanics.

A lot of people on the stream were making fun of the ghost vs. ghost, saying it's trying to mix Pokemon with gambling.
Whoah there. Chill with your waifu. There are a lot of popular characters that rarely or never see tourney play, but have a fanbase. It's just the way fighting games are.
Yup, Anna is covered up a little, and her tits got nerfed. Maybe it's because of the video quality, but her outfit in 7 looks better than the Tekken 8 version. I don't know how I feel about her gameplay (I was iffy seeing Nina pull out guns in the match). I'm not digging her costumes in 8.

He literally said she's the most demanded character throughout the last few installations but she little play. She is peak snowflake material. Her design in T7 was fucking nuts, not a huge fan of this one but if you can color switch her red out I'm sure it'll be neat. I'm big on mint/brown colors and T7 had default colors that just fit her perfectly. It's been hard to mimic in T8.
In general T8 just looks like shit. I wouldn't even say it's better in terms of customization than SF6 just pumping cosmetics out for the avatars. If you swap the hair on any T8 woman, you can't recognize her. The models all look the exact same, it's honestly nuts.

Oh my god I saw some out of context clips of this and I was like "Is this a man? Or a troon? What the damn hell is this creature?"
It's Anna. That design takes some extreme getting used to. She looks uncomfortably masculine. And I don't generally care about waifus but Anna's deal was her sex appeal. She was flirty and deadly and her designs have always reflected that.

But maybe I'm wearing nostalgia glasses and still remember her red dress. I think the coat fits her but everything else is uhm...

The Tekken 7 models are pretty bad even when the team started to understand Unreal. Lars' Tekken 8 model is drastically better than his Tekken 7 model. It's just that they're getting lazy with their models and textures because I could have sworn Anna's 7 outfit looks less detailed in 8 compared to 7. Oh yea, reminder Lydia might be a Nina model with a face scar.

Without the coat she looks like half the cast. Most of them wear skintight leather with random straps, ie. Zafina. Ironic how many T7 designs were more unique and yet less dense to look at that T8. Lore-wise I can see why going full-on crazy in a midlife crisis as opposed to the typical seductive assassin could work, if not it was just in tune with every other design in the game.

Picked the game up again and started playing Asuka. No idea what I am doing, but at least I am having fun so far. Probably will try Lidia and return to Jack for a bit. Lots to learn and from what I can gather S2 is shaping up to be interesting at least.

It sucks how she doesn't know who Steve is, maybe she would've embraced being an aunt to the estranged child Nina has abandoned.
So many Tekken characters have family ties which aren't progressed anymore.
When was the last time Christie & Eddie were onscreen in any game.
