Tekken: Bloodline - Netflix's anime adaptation of Tekken 3

a month ago back in August, Netflix released Tekken: Bloodline. an anime adaptation of Tekken 3. a great fighting game that we all know and love when we were playing it in the arcades and on our Playstations back in the late 90s. it's a coming of age anime focusing on Jin Kazama. the new main hero of the series and the son of Kazuya Mishima and Jun Kazama. and he trains with his grandfather Heihachi into becoming the fighter we know and lover and his entry into the 3rd King of Iron Fist Tournament to win and face Ogre, the monster that killed many fighters, including the King I, who is KIng II's mentor, and Jun Kazama, Jin's Mother.

i watched it with a friend and we liked it. the fighting, the effects, and the moves were faithful to the games.

the characters all have their Japanese voice actors from the video game series. and English voice actors that caught my eye.

Jin Kazama is voiced by Kanji Tang. he voiced Lee Chaolan in Tekken: Blood Vengeance, Owain/Odin from Fire Emblem Awakening and Fates, Sanemi Shinazugawa in Demon Slayer, Munehisa Iwai in Persona 5, and Guts in the Berserk 2016 anime.

Hwoarang is voiced by Todd Haberkorn. he voiced Natsu from Fairy Tail, Death the Kid from Soul Eater, Metodey from Fire Emblem Three Houses, and many more

Paul Pheonix and Dr. Bosconovich are voiced by Jamison Price. he voiced Virion and Priam from Fire emblem awakening, Sojiro Sakura From Persona 5, Colonel Shikishima in the 2001 English Dub of Akira, Colonel Volton in Redline, and many more.

Ling Xiaoyu is voiced by Faye Mata. a popular streamer who playes smash bros and others. she voiced Aqua from Konosuba and Petra from Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Nina Williams is voiced by Erika Harlacher. she voiced Ann Takamaki from Persoan 5 and Sadira from 2013 Killer Instinct.

Not showing the Bear fight is a heresy in my book. Also, Netflix's subs fuck up a lot, & I didn't even watched this on Netflix. The ending is a bit abrupt, but I do like that Jin has a bit of personality here compared to the games.

Now if only CLAMP Jin appeared.
