I think I first saw these guys in a Cracked article. They kinda remind me of the look my mom gave me when I came home with a green mohawk.

There was always something about freshwater hatchet fish (and freshwater fish in general except for goldfish,) that I just don't like. I have yet to find a freshwater fish I'd want to keep as a pet. However, aquatic salamanders make my soul happy.

I'm like that, but with marine fish. But I really love marine invertebrates

Except the flounder, the flounder is cool.

Did you know piranha have wittle toofs?

And they're actually quite timid, if you stick your hand in their tank they get scared and attempt to get as far away as possible. They really only eat very small animals and dead things, they avoid people.

They live all over North America and prefer areas with dense vegetation.

The reason for this is that they like to eat nuts, snails and small crustaceans.

Shockingly enough, it was. It was kind of jarring actually, because said show also had a segment with puppets who lived in a cottage in the English countryside.
