There's pretty much nobody like Terry that can be that unique level of craftiness.

I'm disappointed that in today's world, nobody in tech who lost their marbles can ever apply themselves like TAD could.

I expect more from the world, but I probably shouldn't.

God damnit Terry. I thought you were just a racist fucking nut but you could have easily been related to me given your fucking insanity. This world is fucked up and anyone who falls into the cracks gets obliterated by a train apparently.

Does anybody know if an archive of /templeos/ is out there? Obviously the board is currently down.
 
To tell the truth, I met the guy briefly back in 2011 and I thought he was some lunatic little nut; but back then I didn't know him that much. Terry was just a simple man to create and build his OS, and yet the world misunderstood his project and him as a whole, and that's sad, especially after all the work he pursued over a couple decades.

May this man rest in peace in heaven and fuck these glow in the dark CIA niggers. F in the chat for Terry Davis. Rest in peace, rest in power.

This os one of the videos from the weeks prior to Terry leaving the house. Why did he keep saying his mother spit on 8 puppies? is that something his schizophrenia completely made up or is there some semblance of context?


And in this video he claims a dog is getting raped and it's his mother's fault

Terry will always hold a special place in my heart. Unlike most people we make fun of here, he actually had a reason for his erratic behavior. Schizophrenia is a horrible illness that I would never wish on anybody.

Even with the erratic/schizophrenic behavior, he managed to accomplish so much; far more than any other lolcow will ever be able to do. Sure TempleOS is unusable from all perspectives, but he made it how he wanted to. It is divine unlike the niggerlicious coding ways.

RIP Terry. You were crazy as fuck but also crazy talented. God speed getting all the glow in the dark CIA niggers sent to hell.

I went back and started watching some of the later videos he posted. It makes me want to bawl that someone who obviously had so much in him was given such a shattered and contorted lense to pass it all through. Terry always seemed to see himself as this horrid and sick being who needed to repent for his sins, which is probably why he started focusing on God so much. Maybe he thought that if he served the highest purity known to man he could somehow absolve himself. I think the video you find at the official TempleOS website is the best showcase of what kind of person Terry was. He was homeless and alone. At the same time, he called himself King Terry. Looking out at "castles" and marveling at the simple beauty of a peaceful entranceway to a public library of a town that he could only describe as "pure". Using a public computer and smoking cigarettes. A simple man with a complicated brain. And I hope that God welcomed him home.

Terry was an inspiration to me, one of the reasons I helped a few friends with their OS projects as well as started working on my own.

With all the darkness and the confusion encased in that man’s mind, he had a purpose and while it’s kind of insane; he pushed through it to give us a genuinely amazing, hard to use OS (with extras included)

I wanna be the less crazy Terry Davis
