bro all these are a legit prophesy . This was years ago.

Im starting to unironically think this guy was communicating with above..
Does that count as a miracle for the purposes of canonisation? I'm not sure how the Vatican decides this stuff, but he's got to be in the running surely.

Fuck dude, looking back at this thread is sad

I wonder if he had already decided to end it at that point, and if he had already made peace with it?
His final vid kinda gave me the impression that he was now aware of just how far he had fallen, and that he wasn't proud of it.

This makes his passing even more tragic

I see a lot of pain in those eyes.
Tired and just wanting to rest.
I guess he got what he wanted.

You don't release a video like this and then just go walk in front of a train without the video meaning something. It was his goodbye. He was crazy, not stupid.

The part where he just sits, and starts to talk about the library, and how pretty it is makes me tear up every time. The way he describes how he finally saw himself as some homeless guy, it actually fucking hurts to see the self realization. The smile at the end despite everything he just said about himself proves to me at least he knew this would be the last hoorah. That's probably what hurts me the most.

Rest In Peace, the smartest programmer in the world. We'll always hate glowies for you.

I got this at the top of my home page this morning. Just wanted to come by and pay my respects. I miss him. RIP.

I always thought that quote is profound. To me it showed his intellect away from his coding.

Terry was good people that succumbed to his mental illness. The one lolcow I feel comfortable mentioning to peers, because he's more tragic than ridiculous and shameful to know about. Also brilliant. Way brilliant.

For all the jokes about it it's crazy he managed to singlehandedly make a functional OS with its own programming language. I think he could've made some truly amazing professional stuff if he could've focused his ideas coherently without the illness.
