Inactive Terry A. Davis / Terrence Andrew Davis - Creator of TempleOS (formerly LoseThos/sparrowOS)

You shouldn't have human Idols, but Terry is truly someone to be inspired by.
He got good, and used his skills to serve his purpose as a man -- to entertain Mr. God.
I believe that our built-in need to "sacrifice" to a higher power is meant to be us sacrificing the limited time we are given here to build something good we truly belive in as a gift or "entertainment" to God.

You achieved what you came here to do, Terry.
God was entertained. Sleep well. ❤

RIP Terry, thank you for creating the best term for federal agents, TGD (Total Glowie Death)

My opinion on this man has so 180'ed over the years. Where first I saw a dangerously insane man who should have been pulled off the streets and institutionalized for the good of himself and others, I learned to see a misunderstood genius, too crazy for this structured world but the world was better off for his presence.

To misquote Hunter S. Thompson, There went one of God's own prototypes: A high powered mutant too crazy to live, too strange to die."
:semperfidelis:Rest in Power, Terry.

same. i am ashamed to admit that when i first was introduced to terry i thought he was just some lunatic to laugh at and needed to be institutionalized. i was 100% wrong about terry. im sure plenty of you guys are in the same boat.

A man who stood alone, but never truly was. A man who was nowhere he wasn't supposed to be and said what others would never dare to even think.
Not a man above his own flaws he still tried to navigate it all to the best he could with challenges from a grander conspiracy to destroy the divine intervention of God to a bunch idiots in online forums. He reinvented and sparked passion, leaving behind a puzzle only some may be blessed to one day fully understand. He was the main character and still is.
But those are just some bird's thoughts.
Rest peacefully in God's everlasting embrace, Terry A. Davis.

That quote about him wondering what his bird is thinking is like inception-level deep.

We are definitely worse off without him, but at least he's at peace.

“What’s reality? I don’t know. When my bird was looking at my computer monitor I thought, ‘That bird has no idea what he’s looking at.’ And yet what does the bird do? Does he panic? No, he can’t really panic, he just does the best he can. Is he able to live in a world where he’s so ignorant? Well, he doesn’t really have a choice. The bird is okay even though he doesn’t understand the world. You’re that bird looking at the monitor, and you’re thinking to yourself, ‘I can figure this out.’ Maybe you have some bird ideas. Maybe that’s the best you can do.”

My other favourite Terry quote:

“An idiot admires complexity, a genius admires simplicity, a physicist tries to make it simple, for an idiot anything the more complicated it is the more he will admire it, if you make something so clusterfucked he can't understand it he's gonna think you're a god cause you made it so complicated nobody can understand it. That's how they write journals in Academics, they try to make it so complicated people think you're a genius”

God bless you Terry, You were a huge factor in reading The Bible and eventually going to Church. I hope others were, and are inspired by you, to get closer to God. Terry was happy with his relationship with God despite his health and worldly problems. I think a lot can learn from Terry. God bless you King Terry
