Terry takes a trip to the store:

He's fucking singing Metallica.

And then Paranoid, the title track of Black Sabbath's classic album. He knows all the lyrics.

The last few seconds of this are amazing, where he somehow turns simply crossing the street into a terrifying adventure, then starts singing Paranoid again in the middle of the sentence, then just wants to eat some chips.

This fuckin guy.

It's a side of Terry which would be great to see more often. He's relatively laid back in this video (bar his grumbling about the local buses), and for once he's not being completely mad.

Yeah, Terry is actually a pretty rad guy even if he's a nutter.
I wonder if he plans to turn into an alcoholic, he calculates his beer money for the month @1:40 (now we know that he gets 1400 in welfare and has 800-900$ in expenses).
600 bucks can buy a lot of beer, I guess.

I don't know much about US law, I can only extrapolate from German law: Here, you cannot get involuntarily committed to a mental hospital, unless you're a grave danger to yourself or others.
So, unless Terry actually assaults a "CIA Nigger" and said C. N. calls the cops on him, he's a free man. An ill man, certainly, but free to go where he wants.

EDIT.
I think he needs a new project to work on, to take his mind of his delusions. Maybe he should translate the bible into C++ or something...

It's worse here. We have the same general definition, but the definition of being a threat to self or others is so absurdly strict that there are tons of stories about mass killers who were completely insane, did nothing but constantly talk about how they were going to kill a bunch of people, everyone in their family reported them for constantly doing that, and then amazingly, and never being committed, they then went on to kill a bunch of people.

I think it's okay to have a strict definition of what constitutes "being a danger". People shouldn't be put in mental wards just on a suspicion; I say that because Germany's former Stalinist part had the habit of institutionalizing people who didn't agree with Marxism-Leninism, not being a communist was classified as "being mentally ill".

But there need to be safeguards stopping psychopathic killers before they become violent, that's true also. E.g. that deputy checking on Elliot Rodger's apartment should maybe have glanced around a bit more to find the Supreme Gentleman's freshly acquired guns on his desk.

I think people should generally be free to make horrible decisions about their own lives and even destroy themselves if they choose to do so, but there are a lot of mentally ill people who are not freely making these decisions. Their "decisions" are more or less forced upon them by conditions that can only be described as diseased. This actually robs them of their decision-making abilities, so they are imprisoned by the deteriorating conditions of their own minds.

I think society has not just the right but the obligation to do its best to treat people with these conditions so that, at least if they continue to make bad decisions, those decisions are theirs and not just part of a disease process.

Especially in the case of suicidal people, most of whose decision-making powers is in question, just letting them kill themselves short-circuits the process where in the majority of cases, those stopped from destroying themselves are subsequently glad they were stopped.

Pretending that severely mentally ill people are making rational decisions in their own benefit, rather than horribly harming themselves because their minds literally are not working, is a grave injustice.

Breaking: TERRY IS DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Place your bets on how long it'll be before he runs over another "CIA Nigger" with his car

The comments are full of people genuinely worried Terry is going to end up on a police blotter:

Also, Terry was a racecar driver:

The dog video disturbed me more than the drunk driving. Jesus fucking Christ. Stop yelling and slapping the dog's side or whatever. That's not how you pet a dog and it's clearly scared. Be gentle terry, please, or I'll not care if your ass gets thrown in the can for drunk driving or hitting some pedestrian whilst you rant about CIA Niggers and Whoopi Goldberg to the camera.

Terry drinks:

Terry calls a priest a nigger monkey, likely while hammered:
