Inactive Terry A. Davis / Terrence Andrew Davis - Creator of TempleOS (formerly LoseThos/sparrowOS)

Request for the picture of Vicki and Imelda as they enjoy studying together. It is in the class of '87 book. Please and thank you.

Sorry who are Vicki and Imelda?

EDIT:
There is a Vicki Frank, but I cannot find a Vicki Fox (I see Terry mentioned her name in a few posts).

Terry is alive and well, but he's been kicked out of his parent's house and is having to write code in public on a laptop (at 1:30):

I got kicked-out of my parent's house. I got in a fight with my Dad, went to jail
then mental hospital. I'm adapting to being homeless. Hope to get a car to live
in but no loan yet.

Well, can't say I didn't see this coming. Clearly, even Davis Sr. was getting tired of Terry stinking of booze at all hours and ranting about niggers and dog rape in public. Honestly, the man's a saint for putting up with him this long.

Before I caught up to the part where he's now homeless I was gonna post something about how we've had periods of radio silence before so he'd be fine but with this news I'm gonna have to cross my fingers and hope the guy's mental health doesn't take too much of a hit. :optimistic:

This is bad.
Terry doesn't have a car to stay in but he does have a steady income (SSDI and we know that he gets around 1400 a month from one of his beer videos)

People on the farms have probably seen their fair share of street crazies who have access to YouTube.
This is probably how it starts for them, a bump in the road.

I genuinely hope that this is only a temporary situation for Terry and he finds some way to get a grounded life (i.e. a house) soon.

Although he has schizophrenia, he doesn't seem to be a malicious person.

Perhaps the drum kit was the final straw...

This is a guy who you can feel some sympathy for. His crazyness is a living hell not only for him but his family. They know a lot of the shit he does and says is because of the illness so they overlook it because it isn't really his fault. When Terry has moments of lucidity he likely realizes the hell he puts on his family and it hurts him.

This guy had talent and if he hadn't gone nuts he probably would have been pretty successful as a programmer. Maybe even have his own company. But the illness stripped that away. Sure he is entertaining but we have to acknowledge the mental illness he suffers from. Sorry for coming across as preachy in this post.

Nah, doesn't come across as preachy at all. It's a sentiment that has been repeated several times in this thread, and I agree, Terry's situation is a sad one and his bizarre actions and proclamations are understandable knowing that he suffers from Schizophrenia which can completely derail a person's ability to live a normal life and make rational decisions.

Knowing that Terry has fallen out with/fought his Dad saddens me greatly as I always thought that their support was one of the only stable influences he had in his life, and when they weren't arguing because of Terry's belligerent and drunken behavior, there seemed to be a genuine bond there between them.

That being said, I am completely unsurprised that this happened. I was always amazed at the patience of Terry's parents but I knew there had to be a limit.
