Just watch some of his older videos, they are about as mad as these ones but his parents kept him well groomed and provided him with a stable environment to live in.
You can clearly see him turning into a hobo and that will be an issue in the future.
Old Terry in public was mostly ignored because he looked like a decent enough guy with maybe a few eccentricities but current Terry is literally just another mad bum to anyone who doesn't know him (and since he's away from home, no one does)
