They should just call him "Ass Rape Victim" then.
In time, he’ll learn to like it.

I optimistically really hope that he gets the help he needs from this situation and somehow gets into a happier/more stable living situation as a result of this. I know I'm being optimistic in hoping for that, but he's never seemed to be an evil person.

I wish his dad helped him more. Letting him stay in his home wasn't enough. He should've had a better structure and more positive stimulation instead of just running errands. Terry doesn't belong in jail.

Terry isn't a bad person, he's just very mentally ill. He's more of a danger to himself than to anyone else. Now that he's detained, anyone with even a passing knowledge of mental illness will be able to tell that he's completely out of touch with reality and needs treatment.

Nice thought, but Terry's gotta get help that reaches beyond his family's capacity. I also hope this time away helps turn his life around. It's jail, but there are worse things.

His father is a saint for putting up with him for well over 15 years with the pretty insane Terry.
He made sure Terry was clothed, fed and had a place to sleep as well as reminding him to go to his appointments at the clinic and to take his meds.
Terry's videos only show him yelling at his dad, but that man did more for his (adult) son than most people would be able to bear.
He also paid his bail for the "battery" case, but Terry didn't appear before the court after.

Battery on a police officer or anyone can give you numerous months behind bars.

Assuming that actually happened. Some officers are dicks and throw that kind of bullshit at you when you do literally anything that annoys them. If he actually did it, yeah, he'll do some time, but it could just end up dropped or reduced to some nothing disorderly.
