Inactive Terry A. Davis / Terrence Andrew Davis - Creator of TempleOS (formerly LoseThos/sparrowOS)

It is a shame Terry is such a schitzo because the OS has some neat ideas. Like files ending in .z are compressed and uncompressed on-the-fly by the OS. So if I want a file to be compressed on my disk all I need to do is change it to: myfile.txt.z.
No, let file extensions have meaning for the user and serve as documentation like they were always intended to.

This. File extensions should carry no semantic meaning an merely help users identify, sort, and filter files. I still like the use of files mapped to memory and I/O Linux to this day.

TempleOS is fucking bonkers shit so it only makes sense within it's own context. It's like if BASIC on the Commodore 64 and Amiga Workbench had some sort of love affair with a compiler and had a schizo C baby. Then that baby never heard of modern computing and is still using parallel interfaces.

Update to his case file today:

1/18/2018 FAILURE TO APPEAR

....oh Terry.

RUN TERRY, RUN!
