Not sure how to link to a specific /g/ post.

It's from this thread

I was just thinking about who would be the first to implicate KF for his death. At this point, when a cow/person of interest dies, it's almost guaranteed that we'll catch some blame for it, even though any link would be questionable at best.

To be fair, the list of places and people being blamed is a pretty long one.

I've never seen anyone A-log Terry Davis in this thread. Terry is a tragic figure that most took pity on, including here.

The people who directly interacted the most with Terry are weird lainposters from [8]/g/ that hanged out in his livestream chats. It's against the rules to directly contact lolcows in a directly harassing way, so it's lame as fuck to try to accuse KF of doing anything to Terry.

Really, this is all HackerNews' fault for shadowbanning a vulnerable schizophrenic man. You'd think a bunch of soyboy with a SJW-bias would have treated the guy a little bit nicer.

When Reagan cut federal funding for long term inpatient mental institutions he effectively destroyed them. Terry was committed on more than one occasion for short term stays. To get long term committed you pretty much have to be a violent felon along with being crazy. Think John Hinkley Jr tier. He's the guy who tried to assassinate Reagan to impress Jodie Foster. A bit of ironing in that. He was actually recently released, with conditions, in 2016. He spent 33 years in a mental institution.
Reagan's administration did a lot of bad things, including screwing up Social Security retirement benefits and re-writing the entire tax code while simultaneously beefing up the IRS to the point they became tyrants.
By "a bit of ironing" do you mean the fact Hinckley's mother was ironing in her Colorado home when she heard the news report of the shooting? Or what? (jk, i get your point.)

On-topic...Terry A. Davis is dead, flattened to a pancake by a southbound freight train. Sorry.

We're a convenient boogeyman.

Man, fuck those people. Rest in Power, Terry.

If killed by trains, we shall have to spread the misinformation that he was in fact killed by Trans.
I personally identify as an attack locomotive.

Unfortunate to hear the confirmation on Terry's death, but I think we all kind of knew it was true anyway.
In tribute I downloaded the TempleOS archive for study.
Where did the original HolyC compiler come from? I assume Terry wrote it in some dialect of C, built it, fiddled the output into his own filesystem, then permanently "burned" the binary into the setup ISO?

Terry was why I turned on "show dead" on Hacker News. That is, before I stopped visiting it since it's infected with small-souled bugmen.

I was thinking about what specifically might have pushed Terry over the edge to suicide and came up with:
  • A: The hardship of living homeless (and latterly penniless?)
  • B: Accumulated frustration at not being officially recognised as God's divine king.
  • C: A moment of clarity about having "wasted" so much time on nutty stuff, thus missing out on normal life experiences.
  • D: Sadness and/or a lifting of any inhibition, caused by his mother dying.

  • D: Sadness and/or a lifting of any inhibition, caused by his mother dying.

His mother died on 23 August, which was after his death.

There's no reason to assume suicide is more likely than misadventure. I expect the official cause of death will be publicly available in time.

Terry was drunk a lot, he could've passed out there for all you know. God could've told him to sit there. With schizophrenics you just don't know what they'll do next as a normal brain cannot follow the reasoning. That's why it's important that they get treatment and institutionalized when it's bad, not walk around penniless in the streets. If you don't want them to die, that is.

E: Living is for niggers.
