Inactive Terry A. Davis / Terrence Andrew Davis - Creator of TempleOS (formerly LoseThos/sparrowOS)

Looked up templeos theme on yt, and when it was done, this piece came on autoplay. Beautiful cover, though I'll admit I'm a sucker for piano tunes

EDIT: Thanks for the archive null~

Came into the thread laughing at the quote, was soon almost moved to tears, and then saw a video of Terry ranting and started laughing again.

RIP, Terry. We might be a forum of people laughing at your schizophrenic behavior, but you weren't a bad guy, and you didn't deserve any of this.

Forever in our hearts, Terry. You were too good for us.

For all his faults, he was really talented compared to the furries and Pajeets that permeates the tech community today.

Going back to the broken mental health care point - if he got adequate care throughout his life, I sincerely believe that he would be in the same ranks as Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. The loss of Terry was such a waste of talent and potential, and when I found out that he died last year, it legitimately upset me because he was starting to bounce back.

Why, God? Why?

It is absolutely crazy how neurological or mental disorders take root when people are often in their late teens and grow into a hideous monstrosity over the years. There seems to be some element that schizophrenics are trapped within their own prison, and that they kind of realize that somehow, and eventually they just cannot take it anymore and end their own lives. Long live your weird music Terry, and your fun, sanctified OS.

God needed him in heaven to help rat the bioluminescent negroes out. We’re so lucky to have had him for as long as we did.

I wouldn't go that far but he was very talented, focused, and dedicated. Whatever that may have been.
