Turkey came out perfect this year. As did the corn pudding which I unrepentantly ate a third of.

Happy Thanksgiving all. I'm thankful for the entertainment, archiving efforts, and being allowed to say nigger, faggot, and retard without consequence.
 
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. In true Thanksgiving fashion I’ve ate a fuckton of food, drank some nice alcohol (cider to be exact) and watched A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

I hope you all are also having a nice Thanksgiving.

In terms of food I actually broadened my horizons this year and ate plenty of shit that I ended up liking a lot. So I am quite thankful for that.

Balloon Sonic's arms weren't blue 12 years ago. It would've been funnier if they were because Chris would've taken credit for the "kill".

One that's a tradition in my family is creamed onions. They are pearl onions, and I'd imagine they came from someplace like Ohio because my grandmother lived there at one time. There's a similar midwest recipe with big chunks of onions. My family uses frozen pearl onions that you can find in the frozen section.

I sauté the frozen onions briefly with butter. Then I put them in a baking dish, like a casserole dish or something. I try to save any extra liquid in the pan, in which I whisk in some more butter and then flour to make a blond roux. To this, I add milk, and half&half if I've got it, to make more slightly oniony bechamel sauce than I need, and season with black pepper. This is poured over the onions in their dish.

This can be made ahead of time, and it is baked in the oven with the turkey, when the turkey is approaching getting finished. You'd put various other side dishes in there at this time. It should get quite hot by the time you're ready to serve Thanksgiving dinner.

The extra bechamel sauce is very nice because it pairs well with many other typical holiday sides. The onions and sauce are extra nice with green bean casserole, but also mashed potatoes, whatever dinner rolls you've got, turkey, stuffing etc. Basically you've now got an extra option for gravy.
 
I'm Lucky enough to have a good relationship with my family so i got a big family thanksgiving today.

Happy Thanksgiving, Im thankful for the good times, as little as they are, among these dark times and that there are still site like K.F where I can speak my mind properly. May this holiday piss off those that worship and spread misery cuz "insert minority group the whitest mfs will pretend to speak for". And may also they die alone like they rightfully deserve.
