NWOTHM burnout perhaps? I think I went through something similar recently with the crossover/thrash thing. Which in my mind, was still a big resurgence, but then I have to remember it’s not 2011 anymore.I feel I should like them more than I do.
I think it's partially that and partially the amount of albums they put out in a short amount of time. I do like Mind Freeze though, solid albumNWOTHM burnout perhaps? Perhaps. Could be fun to all chip in one song each and listen together, like a Friday night or Saturday night radio show.Is there enough of us here to have a "Metal Night" for a couple hours once or twice a month like those kiwis do movie night?
That's sound interesting. I was once on a metal forum where people send each other playlists, and you had to review the artist and songs. Is there enough of us here to have a "Metal Night" for a couple hours once or twice a month like those kiwis do movie night?
That may be fun, getting a deeper feel for the metal tastes of fellow kiwisIs there enough of us here to have a "Metal Night" for a couple hours once or twice a month like those kiwis do movie night?
There are 4 of us interested so far. It sounds super fun, we all take turns putting one song on for a couple hours. Can we contact a mod to see if this can happen? That may be fun, getting a deeper feel for the metal tastes of fellow kiwis
I think the first two albums are the best by far. SOANM is very different than Demanufacture - lower tuning, growling, less clean vocals, much more natural sounding drums. Definitely closer to death metal and even grindcore in some parts. The album Concrete is an earlier version of SOANM (same compositions, different recording sessions, mixing etc.)I'm vibing to "Demanufacture" album by Fear Factory. Haven't really been listening to too many of their tracks, aside from what some of the games in the 90s like Carmageddon, but i've been enjoying their music as of late. What is usually considered some of their best content?
Any suggestions on something like Demanufacture that isn't done by Fear Factory? Really liking what they've done with it.I think the first two albums are the best by far. I'm going to choose to believe this was intentional. Phil missed his calling fishing out five cheese ciabatta rolls and death lemonade.Panera
