I tried to use google lens and it was giving me Sanguisugabogg but that doesn't seem to line up and I can't find that shirt on the Internet with that name. Also the name on his shirt has a loot of spikes protruding out the top whereas Sanguisugabogg is pretty rounded around the letters.

From some silly video about a husband/wife starting to argue over their froyo trip, if looking at that would help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuj1iEahNhU

A bit late to this but never thought I would see bands like Funerus or Enter Self here. Not that I'm a big fan of both, but I have heard them. Enter Self drummer was on Pustulated if I recall, right? Their first full-lenght (although I don't remember if they had more) is fucking unique.

About Burial, I like more their EP “Mourning the Millenium”. I even have one part of the song "Enslavement Creation" as my alarm :)

As for bands like Anasacra (hope I write it good) and Mi'Gauss, I know them by name but I still didn't hear them, and I don't have space on my phone to hear it on MP3 (that's what happens when you hear a lot of shit), and well, it's hard to me, in my country, to have CD's easily. Also I saw you mentioning StarGazer, I know the bassist (and vocalist?) was in Martire. Fucking good band. They have a stellar Split with Angelcorpse.

Yeah, that's just Internet Metalheads, the ones that'll honk on about how Metal (never 'metal'; they need to feel their chosen genre is special and deserve Capital Letters) is heckin inclusive and wonderful, unless you've got a patch of a 'sketch' band on your person somewhere. Leftists are unable to grok that some people listen to music and don't give a shit who made it, or why.

Anyway, are we allowed to like grind in this thread? That these lads can keep this intensity up for 30 minutes is bloody impressive:

I see it with people who complains about bands like Arghoslent or Grand Belial's Key. While I don't consider myself a fan of them, fuck, they have some quality on their songs, yet people really love to bitch about them.

And I guess Grindcore is good here, I mean, if we also mention Deathgrind (Inhumate my beloved), it needs more appreciation, too.

RIP Cronos. 😔

Also,

To me it sounds like the old Gothic Metal/Melodeath bands of yesteryear.

Basically this. I used to hang out with guys who were huge into these kinds of bands - Paradise Lost, Green Carnation, Moonspell, My Dying Bride, etc.

Either way, they're still cool bands and I commend them for their efforts.

Love these guys.

EDIT: I somehow fell back to blasting Machine Head's "Through The Ashes...." album. Somehow it's my most liked album of them.

But their work didn't quite "click" with me yet, not even back in the day.
