There's probably no better way to sell me on an album(like Cirith Ungol but on crack)

You'd be right. Musically competent. Can't knock the musicianship. But I listened to it twice all the way through and nothing really stood out. And then there's that overproduced, plastic production I can't stand. How's the new Morbid Saint? Haven't bothered to listen to it yet. I presume that it's just generic death thrash.
I've heard "Sneapcore" be used since Andy Sneap is pretty notorious for this, but there are others (like Colin Richardson). Is there a more technical term for this? I know what you're talking about and I despite it, also.
That was so weird. It was like that on Deezer and Youtube too. I guess it came from a glitched master copy or something. edit: still glitched when I play it.After far too fucking long of a wait, Spotify finally updated the Saddam A Go-Go track by GWAR to no longer have that annoying glitch within the first 10 seconds.
It's basically a shitty rip from the cassette version. That said, the version is likely from the Universal Soldier: the Return OST which leads one to ask why it took them so fucking long. That was so weird. It was like that on Deezer and Youtube too. I think you're right that it's from Universal Soldier. When you look it up on Youtube, that's the version that is glitched. The video version plays fine. As for it messing up on my end, it could be because I have an older OS and Spotify refuses to update at all for me, just like many things now. Fuck I hate modern software. It's basically a shitty rip from the cassette version. As for it still being glitched, it might be a regional thing and all those trappings.
That actually reminds me of probably my favorite RABM band ever, VOAK. Sorgsvart is my usual token RA band that I namedrop whenever pressed, but I like these guys a bit more. They basically just sound like KPN, which I suppose is a tad ironic, but they're one of the better KPN-influenced bands out there.
