You'd be right. Musically competent. Can't knock the musicianship. But I listened to it twice all the way through and nothing really stood out. And then there's that overproduced, plastic production I can't stand.

That was so weird. It was like that on Deezer and Youtube too. I guess it came from a glitched master copy or something. edit: still glitched when I play it.

It's basically a shitty rip from the cassette version. That said, the version is likely from the Universal Soldier: the Return OST which leads one to ask why it took them so fucking long.
As for it still being glitched, it might be a regional thing and all those trappings.

I think you're right that it's from Universal Soldier. When you look it up on Youtube, that's the version that is glitched. The video version plays fine. As for it messing up on my end, it could be because I have an older OS and Spotify refuses to update at all for me, just like many things now. Fuck I hate modern software.
Never mind, seems to work now. My hating modern software stance still remains, however.

Found a RABM band that actually plays decent BM. The first band of that genre that doesn't sound like absolute crap and the lyrics are hilariously over the top (Kill Nazis here, racemix there, bomb Dresden yadda).

That actually reminds me of probably my favorite RABM band ever, VOAK. Sorgsvart is my usual token RA band that I namedrop whenever pressed, but I like these guys a bit more. They basically just sound like KPN, which I suppose is a tad ironic, but they're one of the better KPN-influenced bands out there.

The lyrics are hilariously bad but yeah, quite some KPN riffing in there and the intro immediately gave me some low effort Darkthrone "Hate Them" intro vibes. The last "song" is just crap tho (they used a well-known German poem there).
