It's Black Metal but I always got an Argho vibe from them.
EDIT: for @Henya's Revenge, I'm just too retarded to use quoting at this hour.

I mean what would you expect of this guy (except for whacking off other men in public toilets that is) :Earache records are so fucking retarded . This digipack was so fucking lazy, sick album though.
Only Corpsegrinder is real.Six Feet Under is utter dog shit.
Respeck the NeckOnly Corpsegrinder is real.
How do you manage to disappoint 6 Feet Under fans, I thought they'd eat anythingSix Feet Under is utter dog shit. That being said, it's funny how comments are disabled-just as they were for their previous album after it was very poorly received. Chris Barnes should just hang it up, but he's one of the biggest cows in metal so he won't.

I just pretend it doesn't exist. I would only listen to their first 3 albums anyways because they are the best.Yeah, explain to me how from Divine Intervention onwards is not edgelord shit. Not to mention Slayer jumped in the nu-metal bandwagon when it was trendy so beat it.
Divine Intervention is a great album. Very atmospheric. Diabolis in Musica was also alright. Truth be told, they were spent by then.I just pretend it doesn't exist. I would only listen to their first 3 albums anyways because they are the best.
I guess south of heaven and seasons in the abyss are alright but why would I listen to them when I can listen to show no mercy, hell awaits and reign in blood?
I bought Horror Show on CD like a week or two after it came out, and I eventually noticed a weird popping sound within the first few seconds of Wolf. I thought I might have damaged the disc but never found anything, and it exists in a lot of digital uploads I've heard since then. Could be because Schaffer liked to layer guitars which caused some audio artifacts, and it could be because by all accounts Century Media was just not in the business of giving a shit in those days. Here is a question for some of you here.
I have been listening to a lot of Iced Earth, really enjoying it. However, I am noticing a lot of odd sounds in the songs. Its not artifacts from processing, it sounds like things in the recording themselves. I noticed it on Wolf from Horror Show a few times, I think Cthulhu from a later album has a few that stand out. I keep noticing little background noises, almost like things falling in the studio, or a slight miss hit on the snare hitting the metal.
I listen to plenty of other music and they have no issues, so I know its not my equipment. But yeah, has anyone else noticed bizarre little noises with Iced Earth?
Saw them live a few weeks ago. Nearly dropped dead when he come out wearing a "Respect The Neck" shirt with his own face. What a fucking lovable goofball.Respeck the Neck
