With all due respect to your opinion, there’s not a single Maiden song I don’t like (ok, maybe one), so they could play a set list of their “worst” songs and I’d still fork over cash and drive multiple hours to see it. They’re a special band to me, had a lot of influence on my life.

I firmly believe if they'd relegated all of disc 2(save for empire of the clouds) and when the river runs red to a bonus disc and left the rest to be the actual album the book of souls would have been fairly solid. Modern Maiden's biggest problem is that they are effectively a content mill; churn out one 10+ minute song after another seemingly without ever once taking the time to whittle your product down to its best parts. They're still capable of doing their signature sound to a decent extent but not enough to stand out in an ocean of aimless noodling.

The only thing I ever find at my thrift stores are Metallica shirts made in china with that awful stretchy fabric unfortunately. I'm about to diy, new tees are expensive with inferior fabrics and really ugly prints. I want vintage tees but not for 120+ dollars for some dry rotted bullshit. What I really need is some long sleeves, its getting chilly.
