The previous albums wasn't bad, but also felt pretty boring compared to what the band had released before that. "Metal Fourth" feels again like Babymetal, it's energetic and fun. Always going forward with a brisk pace, with every song trying something else. The only negative and problem I could see happening in the future is the overreliance of guest. They can still do good songs on their own like "White Flame" but I don't know if they are backing themselves into a corner with all the people involved.

Its Lordi. And the companion piece to 2023 "Screem Writers Guild". They really haven't changed after over two decades of making spooky themed hard rock. Still fun to listen to. Can't really go wrong with this.

I need your favorite songs about eating people

Stranded alone on a barren island
No food to be found
Point of desperation
Shocking desicion on how to survive
Now it's time to break out the knife
First inscion the cut is complete
First source of food is one of your feet
Incredible pain as you cauterize the wound
Preparing yourself for a horrible doom

Amputation for your rations
Legs are gone, start new gashes

Half of your fingers are now cut away
To live through another agonizing day
Feasting on the rest of your arm
Next the slice goes across your throat

Errmmmm that's a song about being eaten, not about eating other people :geek:

With the month over halfway through and the year wrapping up, what has been everyone's favorite metal album/ep/song/release of 2025?
I am still going through the albums released this year. As far as individual songs are concerned, Beast in Black's "Enter the Behelit" is pretty fucking great:

i hope hansi kursch and jon schaeffer become friends again so we can maybe get another Demons & Wizards album. the ones they did make are so fucking good.
I hate that I missed them at ProgPower the year I went

It's funny how despite having an explicit Berserk reference in the title, they had to go and make "legally distinct" Fasca and Kuts for the animated video.

Aside from that it sounds like very generic cheeseball power metal.

This is Malefic Throne: Steve Tucker, Gene Palubicki and John Longstreth. This album came out 3 weeks ago. Good stuff.

It's an official collaboration as far as I can tell and what a quick google search could tell me. So okay....

I don't listen to hundreds of albums per year, so maybe I missed it, but the Eurobeat influence sounds pretty new and fresh to me. It is certainly cheesy, but if you don't like power metal in general, I can see that that song wouldn't be to your liking.
