What do we think of Kekht Arakh around here?
This MV got recommended to me and I clicked out of curiosity since I knew the earlier albums weren't bad but Tiktok and zoomercore has completely infiltrated black metal at this point and put it on the same level as soundcloud rap thanks to artists like Semetary. I don't even care if it sounds good, the new Kekht Arakh album is going to have a Bladee feature on it and that says enough. Though if I'll be real, it might be more fatigue of tiktok zoomer irony in general since it's pretty much inescapable at this point.

Zoomers are the worst thing to happen to BM since Sunbather.
Can't forget Liturgy, Violet Cold and blackgaze in general too. Shoegaze has been the trendy emo music for edgy teenagers for a little while already, and I do believe that the creation of blackgaze was the direct pipeline that helped introduce black metal to zoomers and turn it into tiktok music.
I'd say Damián Antón Ojeda was the patient 0 of combining emo zoomerisms with black metal with Sadness and trhä, and while I liked the non-binary freak's music initially, it didn't take long for me to realise he was an actual black metal content farm with how many albums he shits out per year that all sound exactly the same while his fans continuously eat it up. His nonstop spamming of music combined with the dime a dozen copycats/other terminally online people getting into BM and making their own "avant-garde-post-black-metal" variants has made BM in the 2020s an absolute nightmare to traverse through.
At this point it's so unrecognizable from the genre it started from and I'm just tired boss.
