I just listened to it bc of the artwork.

Nice cover. The music? It's ok but I'd rather listen to Midnight instead but I guess some of you might like this.

And the band has this cursed artwork for an EP:

And you can buy this print on their bandcamp:

Haven’t thought about them in ages, was fun to hear them again. New album? Their bassist got the job done. I appreciate how the main riffs mix with the vocals & rhythm section. Hear a lot of thrash in their sound.

Recently been all over the map with different stuff I’m listening to. With metal I’m on a black & a thrash kick. Found a crazy skilled acoustic Megadeth version of the old song, She Wolf. Mustaine is skilled (as always) with his axe, but it’s the bass player in this version who stands out, he absolutely held it together. I think I prefer the OG electric version, but this was a fun listen, even just from a technical pov:

It clicked. Really compelling and couldn’t turn it off despite being so hideous. Reading the lyrics and imaging this little nigga is ghastly.

Anyway, that’s what I was up to at 2 am on a Sunday.
Surprisingly not the first neanderthal themed death metal project I heard. I know they're kind'va shit post, but I really enjoyed this EP by Mired in Tar. The song titles give me a laugh.

Throw me something as hypnotic as Burzum (but doesn't have to sound anything like that)

hope that's vague enough for you

Gnaw Their Tongues Ambient/Noise albums are hit or miss, but the Metal albums are great. I also love the artwork of this one.

Double post, idgaf

Russian slamming brutal death quartet Insect Inside 🇷🇺dropped a beast of an opus last friday, their 2021 debut is good but this absolutely is superior in every way. They stepped their game up. It's Slam Death Metal, but it still maintains a lot of real tremolo-style riffs thrown in to compliment the slams, plus a punchy bass performance and their singer is this long-haired post-soviet goth kid who has the deepest gutturals ever. Even as a slam fiend it's hard to deny that he's impressive

Really insane band. Sure beats whatever the hell Abominable Putridity tried to do on their reboot album few years back

Let me gush over this album again: Deeds Of Flesh - Portals To Canaan is so good even the demo is perfectly enjoyable. If it sounds a bit odd in some parts, it's because it's just one of two guitars.
