The band had to crunch studio time, so Mike had to record ALL vocals on "Beg" with a fucking cold. this fact is most obvious on the "back to the worms" re-recording. Doesn't change the instrumentals, though. its a crime that we only got the Jon/Alex guitar duo on ONE album (Once was Not track 1 doesn't count).
I wish Levasseur never left Cryptopsy, he was just as important as Flo. I've known people who call themselves literally a "Jon Levasseur fan".
Cryptopsy started so many waves, it's not even funny. Every member of the band did something worthy of praise in some form or another on the demo tape and first three records. There's even bass guitar parts on BMF that I listen for

I saw them in the past year and iirc the whole setlist was NSV except one from BMF and one newer song I didn't recognize. Maybe they play faggier sets when they do shows at gay bars or something, I wouldn't know.
You’ve distracted me now to a band thats frankly way better and is also not a glorified cover band. I can’t imagine how ethereal it was to be a metal head in ‘83 after an onslaught of faggotry like anvil and kiss then hearing Melissa for the first time.

Whisper Supremacy deserves more love, sadly I think people don't hear it just because of those 'Hardcore' vocals which is a shame, they fit good on this album.
Though, I sometimes wonder how Cryptopsy would went if they had Sylvester (Kataklysm's old vocalist) for these albums.
