What’s you guys’ favorite power metal bands right now? Stuff like Sonata Arctica and Stratovarius are ear orgasms imo.

Thanks. Those guys aren’t a bad band, shame they didn’t do anything after that. They are kinda like Power Quest.
Yeah "bad" probably isn't a good descriptor because I do love them, maybe "cheesy" would be better. I got introduced to them by the drummer in one of my old bands as a joke and we both ended up loving them. The bassist in that band was a power metal guy and I remember him showing me Edguy, which I liked a lot as well. I'm gonna have to do some diving into this genre again.

That’s cool, it’s nice you knew them or at least talked to them before. The bassist does have good taste, Edguy is amazing.

One of the best bands out rn is Majestica, which they made a new album recenty. It is Tommy ReinXeed’s band, so it’s fast melodic power metal as he did in ReinXeed.

So Jon Schaffer from Iced Earth was involved in the capitol building stuff today. Curious to see if this has any real effect on the band's career. I don't give a shit, but I'm already seeing the usuals saying they won't support him anymore. Of course, they said that about Inquisition and their newest one ended up selling like 10,000 copies.

Lost Horizon, Crimson Glory and Pharaoh, here's a track from each tell me what you think.

I doubt it will, all those soyboys are all talk, just like with their campaigns to "call out shitheads" wearing "questionable" band tees. I've never seen anyone actually do it IRL because the type of guys you see become uncomfortable when you show up to a show in a Burzum or Inquisition shirt look like they've never seen the inside of a gym in their life. I don't care about politics in my bands, hell I like Kreator a lot and they're a bunch of pussy fags using their clout to cancel shows in Germany.

Also, relevant

I don't believe the band has any sort of career anymore. Only relevant in Europe and this before 2000.
It could actually make the band popular to Trumpers.
