The Abortion Debate Containment Thread - Put abortion sperging here.

Oh oh oh, oh here we go. You've just reminded me that there has been evidence that the horomone centre in the brain shrinks when using it. Not only does this increase depression and anger, but it makes women pick more feminine men and it makes women less naturing. You might want to get off that shit. It's literally causing you brain damage.

And yes, I know some women use it to regulate their horomes. But this shit is so bad for them. Let me tell you, I'm a chick with horomone imbalances, I know what I'm talking about. As much as some doctors will try and push this poison on you. Women can regain proper horomone function with a clean diet and weight loss.

Fetuses aren't babies according to the scientific definition.
I haven't been this astounded since that time I found out that A&N regulars can even forego reading the headlines of the articles of the threads they post in, talk less of the articles proper.

"Your developing baby has already gone through a few name changes in the first few weeks of pregnancy. Generally, your baby will be called an embryo from conception until the eighth week of development. After the eighth week, the baby will be called a fetus until it’s born."

> definition calls it a baby THREE TIMES

Wow, you sure showed us. Do you also think that steaks, roasts and hamburger aren't cows? " Well ackshually the developmental stages have discrete names so that means it's not a baby."

Edit: Ninja'd but my God, that's some AMAZING logic.

Principled philosophical arguments about what constitutes human life are pointless

The only relevant question is whether or not society would be better off if abortion was outlawed.
There's more to the question than abortion. But yes. Society would be much better off if it was less sexualized and by extension materialized as a whole. Why do you think people tend to be so unfulfilled, and relationships tend to be so unstable?

none of that has anything to do with what i'm talking about

i asked first
tell me why you care so much about other people having sex
Because you asked me what my thoughts on abortion are. So I told you why I don't like abortion beyond the philosophical aspects of it. What I believe it leads to, and what I believe what it leads to then means for society and people.

This is how a debate works.

Shut up faggot.
Facts over feelings.

My period no longer looks like that scene from The Shining. I'll keep taking my pill, thanks.
why the fuck are you sitting on your computer worrying about who is having sex?
Because he can't get laid. None of these tards can.

You retards can quote me with your "gotchas" all you want, but one poorly worded definition doesn't change the scientific fact that it's not considered an infant until it's born. It's an embryo until Week 9, then a fetus until it's born.

You could have picked a definition that didn't make you look like a complete dolt. You're still just playing word games, anyways. It's a human embryo, then a human fetus, baby etc. because it's a human being. I mean, feel free to find a definition that doesn't mention babies or people and post that, but I'd still say that a cat embryo is on its way to being a kitten, a dog embryo will become a pup, etc. These aren't complicated ideas.
